We are using IBM Blueworks Live for customers to model and discuss their current business processes before process digitalisation or automation projects. IBM Blueworks Live can be used to share process diagrams with the organization and collaborate with users on process design.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use IBM Blueworks Live mainly for process modeling using BPMN notation, which we didn’t have before. It’s cloud-based so I can access it anywhere, and it was easy to customize with our organization’s colors and logo.

the tutorials were super useful to get started and easy to follow

Cons

sometimes the performance slows down when there’s more data
it’s hard to find similar ideas and group them properly
the functionality of importing diagrams or maps is so limited

I would definitely recommend IBM Blueworks Live to teams looking for a simple and visual way to map out their processes. It’s helped us find ways to improve workflows just by seeing everything clearly, also the interface is easy to work with, and the predefined templates made getting started smooth.

We use IBM Blueworks Live mostly for mapping our business processes using BPMN notation. It helped us a lot since we didn’t have any proper process modeling tool before.

Pros

i love how easy it is to use and how it helps our team collaborate smoothly
the tutorials were super useful and made it easy to get started, even with limited experience
mapping functionality lets us link processes and capture metadata, which really helped us scale

Cons

the functionality of importing diagrams or maps is really limited
the reports feel too basic
the performance slows down when there's a lot of data

I’d definitely recommend IBM Blueworks Live, especially if your team needs to work together in real time. It made it easy to map and write down complicated processesand this tool works great if you want to find and fix errors.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As the owners of a fashion e-commerce business, we use Bluework to maintain our supply chain processes and inventory management. Our inventory consists of thousands of products managed by around ten people. Multiple members can work on updating the inventory simultaneously without causing any issues.

Pros

Real-Time Team Collaboration and Updations.
Creation & Updations of the framework in my process.
Inventory management.
Integration with HubSpot, thus helping in performing marketing emails.

Cons

Integration with Slack and Microsoft Teams can also be added.
There should be a virtual tour for beginners at the beginning.

Likelihood to Recommend

Bluework can be suited for mid- or large-sized companies. We have a very large chunk of data that needs to be managed by multiple people simultaneously, which makes a perfect use case for Bluework. Moreover, Bluework has very accurate data visualization. Automatons: When we need to update our inventory due to low stock, Blue Work automation reminds us to update the low stock product quantity!

We are a education trust in India.
We use IBM Blueworks Live to manage all our student, teachers data.
With IBM Blueworks Live we keep all the records of fees, academics, notices etc.

Pros

Cons

IBM Blueworks Live doesn't support integration with Hubspot, I think it should work on adding that integration
Integration with platforms other than IBM is a bit tough
Introduction UI is a bit tough to understand in the beginning

In our cases we have to manage the data of around 23000 students and IBM Blueworks Live makes the job very easy.
Moreover it's feature to generate charts that is very helpful in cases where you need a visual representation of a large chunk of data

We are fashion eCommerce company based in India. We use IBM Blueworks Live in managing our inventory. Using IBM Blueworks Live we keep all our inventory updated in our admin panel as well as other platforms where we sell our garments such as myntra. We also have our in-house web development team which creates all their database schema and we diagrams using IBM Blueworks Live.

It can also have a more explanatory virtual tour of their website to help users understand the platform more easily

The whole IBM Blueworks Live experience for my organisation has been fantastic. When it comes to process automation, it functions incredibly effectively. The user can create charts and maps and quickly automate any complicated problem because to its visual features. It's drag and drop functionality minimizes mistakes and saves a ton of time.
