Overall Satisfaction with IBM Blueworks Live

We are fashion eCommerce company based in India. We use IBM Blueworks Live in managing our inventory. Using IBM Blueworks Live we keep all our inventory updated in our admin panel as well as other platforms where we sell our garments such as myntra. We also have our in-house web development team which creates all their database schema and we diagrams using IBM Blueworks Live.

Pros

  • Creation of ER diagrams
  • Inventory Management
  • Customer Management

Cons

  • Integration with other platforms except IBM products
  • It can also have a more explanatory virtual tour of their website to help users understand the platform more easily
  • Customer management is easier, I don't have to specifically pay CRM software
  • It has helped me saved time & money in inventory management
  • I have integrated emailing services with my CRM thus making it very simple to email my customers without having the pain to use any other emailing services this increasing my conversation a lot
I have infrastructure in IBM hence integration with IBM Blueworks Live was very easy.
There were inbuilt tools in IBM Blueworks Live where as Visio didn't support IBM platform much.
If you have your infrastructure in Microsoft then Microsoft Visio can be a good choice else IBM Blueworks Live is best

To manage customers & inventory, IBM Blueworks Live totally fits in.
Well, there is not much where I could say where you cannot use IBM Blueworks Live, but in scenarios where there is a lot of technical documentation, I won't recommend IBM Blueworks Live.
