Document uploaded is not automated so generating and uploading the required information may take some scripting skills. Also the training procedure is based on click select the best batch. So this may not be the perfect tool when the data changes constantly.

And all this can be done by using their powerful API which not only is fast and accurate but can analyse almost every type of document such as pdf, excel, word, txt etc. So now we don't need anyone to manually extract data from these files or hire freelancers to do it for us.

If your main goal is to only analyse data that only includes texts, then you should go with IBM Watson Discovery as it is really good at it and the API that it provides is really powerful and analyses almost every types of file. But if your data includes images, then IBM Watson Discovery may not be the best choice for you as it struggles with OCR.

It is also integrates really well with other 3rd party and IBM products so you won't run into any issue while using it. Additionally, you can easily generate detailed reports of your analysed data and let me tell you, they can also display the report on a graph too which is really useful and you won't regret using them.

There are several software that would sort, trim and analyse your data but we wanted to get the report of the analysed data in graphs and IBM Watson Discovery does display your reports in graphs if you need them to be. So if you need such functionality then you should go with it though the cost is quite high due to it's heavy resource consumption.

You have lots of sold items data and you look for patterns that would been useful for your customers (usually e-shops). In this case, that's great to process with stability massive amounts of information and finding answers to questions still not asked.

Also business as usual insights are provided in a reasonable time. What still should be clearer, imho, that's how to the process performs internally and if we are doing good or poor use of the tool (also an AI based advisor would be great).
