iFax for small business

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

iFax has been very helpful in eliminating wait times and gaps in communication with other providers and insurance companies to help ensure access to care for my patients. My occupational therapy clinic uses the HIPAA compliant fax features to send and receive orders, medical records, and other health information needed to provide therapy services.

Pros

  • HIPAA compliance
  • Easy to use dashboard.
  • The ability to label and organize faxes in one place.

Cons

  • I would like to see a better price package that caters to small clinics.
  • The clarity of uploaded logo images is not the best and improvement is needed to promote a more professional look.
  • I am not aware of any referral offers for small business that refer other clinics to use the product, which would be helpful to all parties.

Likelihood to Recommend

I would recommend ifax based off of the HIPAA compliance and easy to use dashboard

It is well suited for sending paperwork to physicians and insurance companies to provide documentation for mental health treatment. The fact that it is HIPAA approved is an asset.

Best free fax service I've used

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

If I have to fax something to anyone i use iFax so that I don't have to use an actual fax machine. It's the best way to send information and forms to agencies and other business that still don't use Email as a means of transmitting information between each other.

Pros

  • it's easy to use
  • there is a free plan for those that just need to fax a couple pages
  • they send you updates and confirmations of your faxes

Cons

  • I'd like to see a better free plan that offers more
  • make it look more fun
  • help both parties understand that faxing is outdated and email is much easier and always free no matter what.

Likelihood to Recommend

iFax is the best for people who need to submit documents to government agencies and offices that don't use email as a means to sends pdf files and other forms of documents like word, excel, etc. It is best for those who only need to send less than 5 pages of documents to the recipient.

This fax service is great for the few faxes I have to send a month because it's easy and FREE! If you or your business has to use it to send more than 5 pages a month the rates are reasonable.

Pros

  • Free faxes
  • E-mail confirmations of sent faxes

Cons

  • At this time, I don't see any improvements needed

Likelihood to Recommend

Using this service allows me to fax from my computer rather than a fax machine. I work from home and don't need to fax that often so this is a great service.

Great for small business and those of us who don't really fax anymore in the world of scanning and emailing. Sometimes you get a request to fax and you have to scurry to the local UPS Store to fax something. This is much more convenient.

Fast, efficient, easy to use

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Under a ticking clock to get a single-page document to a doctor, I needed a quick-and-easy online fax service. Most services wanted to lock me into yearly plans. iFax was the easiest and most flexible. I got the doc in with a few minutes to spare, which is why I'm writing this very grateful review in the first place.

Pros

  • Simplicity
  • Ease of use
  • Quick transactions

Likelihood to Recommend

The medical industry still relies on faxes, whereas most other sectors don't. This allows people to handle their own faxes without having to use their healthcare providers and an in between.

iFax for modern business is convenient

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In the modern restaurant environment we no longer have a dedicated fax line, the needs of the business have changed drastically. There are still some areas where a fax is the most convenient way to send out information. Using iFax allows us to do this on a case-by-case basis for a small payment without having a monthly or annual fee, saving us the additional expense while allowing us the on-demand convenience of a fax when needed.

Pros

  • Provides basic cover sheet
  • Easy-to-use interface
  • Upload document easily

Cons

  • Cover sheet was good but perhaps flexibility for more options and fast keyboard entry speed (was a tad bit chunky to enter the text)

Likelihood to Recommend

If you have frequent fax needs, I wouldn't recommend iFax. Occasional faxing for a business (up to a couple times per month) and really any faxing as an individual I would recommend iFax over the subscription models others offer.

Use iFax online services if you don't have a fax machine.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

iFax is great at helping me bridge the gap of channel communications with older technologies and todays modern tools. I'm able to send important and time sensitive documents to organizations that still require hard copies on hand and when email is not an option. Save money on overnight shipping costs, and it is more practical to use iFax services than purchasing a fax machine myself and paying for a dedicated fax line.

Pros

  • Sends Fax
  • saves contacts
  • website is user friendly
  • offers onboarding and training for your staff

Cons

  • expensive service
  • more pricing options

Likelihood to Recommend

When working with someone that requires a hard copy of documents on their end vs a digital copy, iFax is a great resource to quicky get them what they are requesting. If the other party is okay with digital copies or there is no urgency in time fame for receiving the documents, then just scanning and emailing documents or using a currier service would be the appropriate channel I would use.
