We use Insightly to keep track of our customers and their pipelines to know where we are in our sales. It helps us stay organized, it gives us a map to follow, and it gives us tasks to follow to keep up with our customers. I think it is most useful for our sales reps who have a lot of customers that they have a hard time keeping track of. Overall, it solves a lot of our organization and customer database problems.
Pros
Organizing customers
Pipeline instructions
Pretty fast at responding when having issues
Merging accounts option/ease of deletion
Cons
Gmail AI- reading the wrong part of the email and making new accounts of ones we already have
Complicated settings
Pretty fast at responding when we have inquiries however usually customer service needs really detailed responses and screenshots
More comprehensive user training- I joined the webinar and it just basically went over what you would be implementing, not how to use it
Proof of data privacy

Insightly is well suited when creating customer profiles, pipelines and project steps, however when you look into it deeper, it is difficult to make tasks that will show up on time, follow up emails that won't blow your email up, etc.
We use this to manage every stage of the solar installation process, from sales, to design, to permitting, to installation, and finally activation. It allows us to have object oriented records for each project stage, all liked back to the original customer record. It is effective and I actually prefer this over sales force classic.
Pros
Ticketing
Record keeping
Value change tracking
Cons
Artificial intelligence
Calling integrations
Webchat integrations

It is great for classic CRM and service ticketing. It does not seem to include AI driven pipeline management. The graphic user interface does appear quite basic, but I don’t mind that so much. I do think the code and potential for what can be built in insightly is very high, and overall I rate it as a robust CRM that is comparable to other top softwares of this type.

Insightly is being used in the front end of our Organization - by Sales & Marketing Personnel, Top executives, and the managers to know the status/stage of any particular opportunity at any given point of time. And also to capture leads, and to maintain the database of all our Customers (and prospects) - through Organizations and Contacts modules in Insightly.
Pros
Ease of use - one great feature of Insightly is it is very simple to understand and use
Customer Support - Webinars and customer support articles are very helpful to get familiar with this CRM
Reports - so easy to prepare any report, or make changes to an existing report
Cons
History - On any particular opportunity or in any module, it will be great if we can see who made the changes and what are the changes - example who added the tags, or links, etc.
Tasks transparency - it will be great if the admin or certain user groups can see the tasks assigned to other users on their Calendar - similar to that of events.
Excel Reports robustness - If grouping and formatting of columns retained in the report after export, it will be very useful
Likelihood to Recommend
Very well suited when users are not tech savvy and need something simple to use. Transparency - when the entire team needs to know who's assigned to what opportunity/task/event. Small company - not many users, and not robust reports are needed for analysis. High Control - may not suit well, when you would like to control each and every action of all the users.
