What is Novigem?
Novigem is a Salesforce-native gamification platform that automates the tracking and scoring of user activities within Salesforce CRM. The system is a managed package installed via the AppExchange, requiring no external data synchronization or secondary authentication. All data remains within the client's Salesforce instance to maintain data residency requirements.
Core Functionality
- Real-Time Scoring: Assigns point values to specific record updates (e.g., Opportunities, Leads, Tasks) the moment a user saves a record.
- Integrated Interface: Displays live leaderboards and performance metrics directly within the Salesforce Lightning Experience, alongside standard pipeline views.
- Declarative Configuration: Allows administrators to define challenges and point values for specific behaviors, such as updating Close Dates, completing Contact Roles, or populating required fields.
- Retention Mechanics: Includes weekly leaderboard resets and badge-based recognition for specific milestones and activity streaks.
Deployment Process
- Installation: Deployment via the Salesforce AppExchange as a managed package.
- Configuration: Declarative setup of challenges and point values through the Novigem admin interface; no Apex code is required.
