Great tool to fix latency issues. The UI is simple and very easy to use. It does not require deep technical knowledge to operate and provides very accurate reports.

The pricing, should you choose the subscribe or purchase the lifetime activation should be worth it for what it provides. Even the free version is more than enough to monitor the "current" status of your network.

I use PingPlotter to understand any latency or packet loss between a test computer and the central router. I also test to see any connectivity issues to the internet. My primary reason for monitoring this is because I have a wireless bridge in between the test computer and there can be latency. This helps me troubleshoot changing the channel to get better signal.

To diagnose and verify connections to network cameras. Since camera connections are very dependent upon reliable connections and suffer from packet loss, then it is important to have a way to see packet loss, where and when it is occurring. With PingPlotter we can visualize the exact position along a traceroute and see where the major issues are.

We have been using PingPlotter to observe and diagnose communication issues on all of our networks. We've been experiencing a lot of latency issues lately. This tool has also helped us determine which of our ISP circuits are performing well and when circuits need to be serviced by the ISP themselves.

Used PingPlotter to debug our wide network with 1000+ devices after segmentation. It helped us a lot while trying to understand what parts of our network and specially - when the problems occure. We were able to see exact times and devices that had a problem in a very clear manner.

This program is helping me to diagnose networking issues in my home office. I can add IP addresses targets for multiple devices in my network and it will constantly ping them for hours. The plots are easy to read and configurable. It makes it easy to see how the network stability changes over time and seeing how some devices go down while others do not is valuable information for diagnosis. The built in network mapper is very handy tool also and pulls IPs, MAC addresses, and names over several protocols and then starts pinging all the devices. The tool is just really handy and does exactly what you want it to do.

We used PingPlotter Pro to help diagnose and resolve difficult-to-pinpoint network issues. Easy to stand up devices and ping locations side-by-side to see where the problem lies. Also, invaluable to present to ISPs to graphically show issues to assist in troubleshooting.

I use PingPlotter to show the availability of VMs and management interfaces during a hardware failure. PingPlotter is tunable and flexible, and allows me to demonstrate how our technology enables zero downtime operations for all applications. PingPlotter is simple to learn and use, and is a great tool for troubleshooting network connectivity issues in any environment.

I installed PingPlotter because the network admin that was helping us to troubleshoot network problems recommended we do so.
We installed it and configured the program to monitor several connections and ip´s over several days to get a feeling about what the problem was. It helped us to identify when the slowdowns started and when the resolved again and by doing that we were able to find what the cause was. Without PingPlotter it would have taken much longer to figure this out and narrow the possible cause.
Recommend this program to all serious network admins and people that need to monitor network traffic.

I use PingPlotter to determine faulty communication links in a path. Problems like failure between a site and centralized services may appear and PingPlotter can help identify where efforts should be focused. The use case most recently is an authorization server intermittently times out. By connecting to the environment and running PingPlotter, the hops between the site and centralized services could run and help identify where the problem stems.

During the pandemic we shifted various components of our IT infrastructure services to different locations (i.e. Cloud, Datacenters, etc..) to help with the remote work environment and support required for such. PingPlotter helped us monitor and keep our ISP and IT infrastructure partners honest when issues were identified, specifically latency. The interface is very intuitive and displays the information that is relevant when doing ping traces and analyzing each hop.

It helps us troubleshoot networking issues in our upstream and locally, where we had issues reaching certain targets or we have seen degraded performance towards certain routes. These tools helped us easily track, monitor, and pinpoint these issues, and report them to the relevant parties, so they could be resolved.

To understand how to use this product to evaluate its ability to check for network performance and latencies. The charts and dashboards helps to provide a visual view of the pings and results and are very useful in updating the stakeholders' concerns and issues. Time and resources saved as a network engineer can easily remote in to check and update on the network at any time, compared to current where travel to the office is required.

At our organization, we were having frequent network issues and our ISP would constantly blame our hardware for the issues. Every single network disruption would lead to heavy losses in terms of employee productivity. With PingPlotter, we were exactly able to diagnose why the network issues were common and the ISP had to go ahead and resolve it as we had the exact stats. It saved us tons of productive man-hours and reduced our network downtimes. It's a solid network troubleshooting and diagnostic tool. It also alerts us on any warnings with the network that we need to look at.

PingPlotter is used in our networking and IT department and it is great in the diagnosis of the cause of the network issues. It provides us with the graph after testing the route. Initially, it was hard for us to look for the cause of network problems but after getting PingPlotter we can monitor internal network problems and it helps in reducing the duration of the troubleshooting issues. It has been beneficial in saving our time.

We currently use PingPlotter when we come across any network issues with anyone of our customers, and find it particularly useful when troubleshooting issues outside of the network perimeter. We have a team of twenty two technicians who will use this on any given day when working with customers or the dreaded ISP whom loves to point fingers at the local area network. PingPlotter allows us to definitively provide proof to the problem area in a matter of minutes, what used to take hours to accomplish.

PingPlotter was purchased to fix a simple problem, we wanted to live traceroute data and latency watching. The main issue it addresses is being able to tell us current latency and alert on this if necessary. It can also give historical data which is very useful troubleshooting issues that may have occurred in the past at some point.
We currently only run PingPlotter on one machine as this is all we currently need and it is in IT where it is used.
