  • Data collection
  • Data reporting
  • Tracking Documentation

I like using QT9 because it's easy to use, easy to train others and is very user friendly. QT9 has all that we need to be successful. Our data tracking, corrective actions, documentation tracking and the reporting of that data is extremely easy to use and implement. We also think that the EC process is very useful for updating designs

Improved Our Internal Project Management

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our company uses QT9 QMS for document management and various engineering and quality systems coordination. We have a tiered engineering change approval process. This tool was a major improvement for us. Previously we did not have a computer based system. Through QT9 QMS we can share notes and record our approvals. Also, our employees are able to pull up the most recent approved documents to insure we're all working with the same information.

Pros

  • We store current documents
  • We record nonconforming products and resolution
  • We manage our vendor quality/SCAR process

Cons

  • Better graphics/visually appealing and easier to navigate
  • It would be nice to have a chat feature
  • The interface with our vendors/customers isn't always smooth.

Likelihood to Recommend

This tool has been very helpful with our Engineering Change Request process. Engineers can reference where their current projects are and know who they need to follow up with for approval. We also assign tasks in the system and can see who has overdue tasks.

One area that I think could be improved is how the tool engages our vendors for corrective actions. We have to train vendors on how to use the system which can make it more time consuming.

QT9 QMS Quality Review

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am the Quality Assurance Specialist and I use QT9 QMS in an Administrator roll for our Manufacturing facility

Pros

  • Tracks document reviews well.
  • Makes creating NCP's and CARs easier than paper.
  • Tracks and maintains calibration records well.

Cons

  • There could be a little more clarity in using the report function. Tends to be a little clunky at times.
  • Access to be able to create your own areas on NCPs and CARs. Some manual onsite coding to form the information that would most benefit your company.
  • Bring back dropdowns to be able to select key types along with the enter function.

Likelihood to Recommend

Document tracking and calibration works well. If asked about a system that would keep tabs on all documents in a quality system. I would recommend QT9 QMS as it does keep track of the documents and review dates well and sends the responsible party an email to notify that it is time to review.

QT9 QMS

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

document management, engineering change process, calibration, noconformances. it is our overall QMS that we use for both our ASME program and general quality program. Using the feature of exporting the grid to excel we are able to generate custom reports and obtain trend data on our quality. User defined fields allowed us to customize for our needs.

Pros

  • document control
  • engineering change process
  • calibration

Cons

  • canned reports
  • adapting for other standards such as ASME requirements
  • adding two approval points in the NCPs - one for immediate disposition and one for final verification with multiple sign offs for each

Likelihood to Recommend

great for document control and engineering change process. Good for customer feedbacks. exporting to excel allows custom reports to be generated.

I'd like to see it adpat to other standards such as ASME. I would also like to see a module for returned parts both from external users and those found internally and a way to management warranty.
