Overall Satisfaction with QT9 QMS

document management, engineering change process, calibration, noconformances. it is our overall QMS that we use for both our ASME program and general quality program. Using the feature of exporting the grid to excel we are able to generate custom reports and obtain trend data on our quality. User defined fields allowed us to customize for our needs.

Pros

  • document control
  • engineering change process
  • calibration

Cons

  • canned reports
  • adapting for other standards such as ASME requirements
  • adding two approval points in the NCPs - one for immediate disposition and one for final verification with multiple sign offs for each
  • visiablity of controlled documents and those that are out for revision has been good
  • great central hub to allow users from other facitilities to use the same documents/processes
  • visiabiliy of the status of the engineering changes
ease of use and implementation. user defined fields allow customization. exporting information into excel permits the use of pivot tables to analyze data and create reports. In geneneral, the main features required by our QMS are in the software.

great for document control and engineering change process. Good for customer feedbacks. exporting to excel allows custom reports to be generated.
I'd like to see it adpat to other standards such as ASME. I would also like to see a module for returned parts both from external users and those found internally and a way to management warranty.
