Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Referral Rock as a platform to streamline referral marketing in the most automatized way possible. The idea is really to alleviate the burden on both publishers (influencers, bloggers, WEB administrators, etc.) and advertisers. A key aspect of the platform is its ability to integrate Referral Marketing with Sales Management.

Pros

  • Integration with Salesforce
  • Fully customizable affiliate portal
  • Great tracking/analytics features

Cons

  • Salesforce integration isn't free (need to buy the most expensive plan).
  • Does not provide as iOS/Android app.
  • User Interface/Design could be better.

Likelihood to Recommend

Referral Rock is very relevant in cases where you already use Salesforce or HubSpot and want to integrate/streamline your Referral Marketing process with your Sales Management process (which is where Salesforce and Hub Spot are mainstream). Referral Rock might be less relevant if you don’t use Salesforce or HubSpot, but in that case, the pricing is also much lower, and you still get great value for the cost.

Best in class features for the price, amazing onboarding support, lacks some customization

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our Marketing Department uses ReferralRock to handle customer referral and affiliate programs. The service helps us track our referrals, integrate with Salesforce, and automate reward payouts, allowing us to scale the program to thousands of customers. ReferralRock's API integrations also allow us to use our own landing page to track leads, which was a big bonus. Lastly, the company's onboarding support, especially from our representative Daniel, was outstanding, as he helped us at every stage of the referral process.

ReferralRock is best suited for companies looking to automate their referral program, the Salesforce integration and the automated payout system are great. It is less suited for companies looking for a fully customized referral experience, as some customization features are lacking on the email and registration page end.

We are using Referral Rock to manage our first ever referral program for our SaaS business, Syncro. It has worked flawlessly for us thus far. After comparing it to many other referral program management solutions via reviews, Googling, demos, etc. we landed on Referral Rock even though it was more pricey than the other solutions. Totally worth the money for the features you get + the fact that the platform is just so much more mature than the other options out there.

Pros

  • Automation (one click access link with our email marketing software, payouts, etc.).
  • Reporting (their dashboard and logs are SUPER detailed).
  • Onboarding (we have a dedicated account rep who's great via email and video calls).

Cons

  • Just a few minor missing features that I have been told are on the roadmap. Certainly not blockers.
  • Gift card payouts that work internationally, even if the currency selected is specific to a certain country (i.e. a $100 USD gift card payout amount should still result in the ability for the recipient to choose a gift card worth $100 USD, but available in their home country. Right now we are limited to only those gift cards available within the payout currency country).

It works really well for SaaS referral programs, can't speak to ecommerce and such.

Referrals from your customers are key to any business's growth and success. That is why I chose and continue to use Referral Rock to make my life easier with this aspect of our growth. There are so many different ways to help manage all my referrals (segments, sending emails, etc.), which makes my life easier. In addition to the awesome features, their support is rocking and helpful. Moving from onboarding to usage of the product and making sure I use all the features fully were key to my success with using Referral Rock.

Stout referral program that has increased our sales

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Referral Rock has helped increase our customer referral leads, referral partner program leads, [and our] internal bonus campaign for employees to earn incentives. The integrations and automations with the software [have] worked seamlessly after [being set] up. I particularly like that it creates a one-click link for members to access their portal and track their referrals and payouts. The Tango Gift Card catalog offers a wide variety for payouts to choose from. Special shout out to Daniel, who has been our success manager and assisted promptly when I've had specific questions.

If you have a decent sized customer base, Referral Rock can be a great tool to leverage those current clients to increase your sales and revenue. The dashboard and referral submission is easy to use for the end user. I would recommend [Referral Rock] to any service based company to use. [I] looked at several competitors when finding a solution, and [I] am glad we went with them.
