Good but needs work

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I like RingEX (RingCentral) as an applicant. The application allows me to record my calls, and respond to them them in detail, even if I'm driving or not able to take notes. Tech Support could be better. They should be able to diagnose a technical issue without me having to be on the call, on hold, waiting for them so they don't get another call and stop working on my issue. In addition, when I call about an issue, they call me nonstop back to back to ask me to hold while they try to resolve my issue. They need to figure out a better way.

Pros

  • Record Calls
  • Only carry one phone
  • Transcript of calls

Cons

  • Tech Support

we are currently a single member LLC. Currently at this time, we use it for customers to contact us if they have any questions about our business, website, or mobile apps that we have created. This also includes any Accessibility concerns that need to be addressed.

Pros

  • Good customer service
  • Different pricing plans

Cons

  • Prices could be a little bit less expensive.
  • Website could be improved for Accessibility for screen reader users, especially in the admin portal where you manage all the phone systems and accounts

Likelihood to Recommend

Very well suited for those who don’t want to carry multiple cell phones, or they can do both and connect a desk phone to the computer if they wish. It would be nice though, if customers can at least get one free desk Phone, if they choose, when they sign up for a paid plan.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use RingEX, along with Incontact for our phone system and contact center solution. It's helping our customer support teams support our clients and vendors.

It is the backbone of our customer service communication solution.

We also use it for person to person communication with our vendors and for other non-support initatives.

Pros

  • RingCentral's RingEX does a Great Job with providing transcripts for Calls
  • RingCentral's RingEX does a great job as far as voice quality.
  • RingCentral's RingEX does a great job as far as their admin portal. Very easy to use

Cons

Likelihood to Recommend

Onbe scenario that comes up a lot is that vendors need a way to contact us on the IT team. With RingCentral's RingEX we have created shared lines for these needs so all of us are notified if we have to take calls for a project.

Also, our CSM teams like to use it call our clients. We can also set schdules and forwadding ruls pretty easily.

Ring EX is great for any call center especially ours, sometimes we need to send patients codes or receive SMS messages which works very well. The phone app is okay for some of our traveling employees, but the PC app is more fleshed out. Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

RingEX is our hub for internal and external communications. Having the ability to utilize a call tree amongst the sales team allows us to screen spam calls. The soft phone number lets us avoid having to use actual business mobile lines with a cell carrier. The AI receptionist helps answer simple questions and lets us know who's serious about meeting with us and who's not.

Pros

  • Integrates great with our CRM.
  • We have the ability to make calls from our soft line or the main company number.
  • We can run meetings through the platform if need be.

Cons

  • AI note taking on calls does not always capture the info of the call accurately.
  • The phone app and the app on my CPU don't seem to talk to each other.
  • No need for guest contacts.
  • The texting function does not automatically log to our CRM.

Likelihood to Recommend

RingEX is great for situations where we receive or make calls on one platform and can seamlessly switch to another (e.g., CPU to mobile or vice versa) without the person on the other end knowing. We would rather use our CRM for virtual meetings because it automatically logs, unlike RingEX's video calling.
