Samepage reduces the problem of tool-hopping. The complexity of the product in terms of features is phenomenal. Keeping documents in a collaborative network has never been this easy!

It has reduced risk of sharing and losing data in unsafe environments. Scope is to make use of Samepage to enable clean management of company information and valuable documents. This has been truly helpful, secure and easy to use!

Pros

Conducting meetings - Immediate connects are helpful to improve collaboration at work.
Planned day - Agenda setting feature is a master piece!
Diversity in the type of documents that can be owned and shared is a commendable discovery.
We don't have to move to Slack or Teams, DMs can be done in Samepage itself.

Cons

Document types could have symbolic representations.
Exporting process could be shorter - Just with an upward arrow button.
Task chat can also have a save option to take notes of important messages.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is well suited for me because I can do all the documentation work at Samepage. This cuts down the use of collaboration tools, notepads, project management tools etc.,

In addition to this, the Project management module provides more grip to using the documents or company information in a more productive way. There has been absolutely no requirement to follow up with other team mates to understand the work progress. Assignment and progress details are at the same place!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Samepage is a collaboration tool that we use when we are running projects with our Data Centers who are not part of our networks. They are sort of our Customers so its important to maintain all forms of communications and project artifacts in one place. After working with sharepoint, which had a lot of issues with access for outside customers, we decided to switch to Samepage to manage Data projects.

When our organization started taking on more external partners to work with, we knew we had to find a solution. We previously were using sharepoint to work with personnel on projects, but the access was always an issue with external parties. So we had to switch to a new project collaboration tool. After much research we found Samepage. We have been very happy with using that as its seamlessly integrates all areas of collaboration in one application.

We use Samepage in a somewhat limited capacity, mainly to facilitate easy collaboration between colleagues in one specific department living abroad or working remotely. Our main concern was being able to share documents simply and with minimal emailing required, and for someone managing a project remotely to be able to show clear progress and collaboration needs with others.

Pros

The "Pages" layout is extremely helpful to keep many different kinds of files, comments, etc. in one place and on one project. Basically it enables you to work on a project in real time, instead of having one place to put documents, another for chat, etc.
The "Tasks" feature furthers the seamlessness of the app, making it easy for collaboraters to see the relationship between tasks and projects.
The "Call" feature is a huge win for communicating all in one app and being able to see the project and its tasks and progress all in one space.

Cons

It can feel hard at times to get a real big picture view of all the projects and pages happening at the same time. It is easy to drill down or zoom out on specific pages, but it doesn't feel like you're getting a sense of overview or moving pieces for multiple pages.
There is really no way to have subtasks within larger tasks, and that is sorely missing.
It can be quite difficult to get team members up and running - there is a bit of a learning curve and it's not extremely intuitive.

Samepage is being used by our organization in a few departments. It helps us to save time by combining the benefits of many applications. Samepage can be customized to work with companies with many users. Files, data, and information can be accessed from any device. It is not being used by all departments, as it can only be used for multi-purpose if you have someone to help with data.

Pros

Samepage can be customized to work for any sized company. Files and information can be accessed via many devices, as it’s iOS, Android, Mac and Windows friendly.
Samepage provides access to control and communication for companies to help streamline their operations.
Files and repositories can be managed on the portal where project management is done.
It has good communication options in the app.

Cons

I would like to see a richer API that offers access to Samepage’s technology and manipulates it for more apps.
There could also be more features offered in the free plan. It will give users a better feel for the platform.
The new format is not as easy to use as the Legacy Format.

Likelihood to Recommend

I'd recommend Samepage, as it helps in the long run to accomplish tasks that we need it to. There are not too many pieces of software on the market that do this, and they all have their own advantages and disadvantages. All software used on Samepage can be improved and should be. Mobile support is not very good and it is not very appropriate. It is not well suited in the case of getting the correct content of the users.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

At my organization, we started to use Samepage as a collaboration hub for our health research group. Despite being a group of 15 people, we are located in different offices around the city. In addition, most of these people lack IT knowledge. As such, we needed a good tool for online collaboration, but also something that was easy enough for beginners. Everything regarding the group, schedules, meeting notes, tasks, projects, plans, and documents were tracked using our Samepage account. It helped to bring together items spread across a number of different online services.

Pros

Flexible: Samepage pages can assume a lot of formats to suit your needs
Easy to start: creating an account and starting a page is easy enough even for non-technology oriented people
Very attractive prices for the Pro plan

Cons

Samepage allows to upload and view PDF files, but not markup or comment on the pages inside them. Such feature would be extremely useful
There is room for usability improvements. The interface could use more contrast and color to create a better visual hierarchy.
Only three templates fail to show the beginner the true potential of the different formats pages can take on Samepage. There should be more templates and examples.

Likelihood to Recommend

Samepage is well suited to situations:

- when there is a need for ongoing collaboration between people

- when these people lack tech skills

- when there is a need for sharing and showing different kinds of media

Samepage is less appropriate in situations (since there are better tools for those particular uses):

- requiring more robust communication tools

- when the objective is to execute a specific, finite task

- when it is necessary a precise control of version history

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have been looking for the holy grail of project management for YEARS. We wanted something that could be easily understood by all staff members as well as allow us to communicate with our clients who are not typically tech savvy or interested in learning one more piece of software to manage us. Everyone in our company uses it. We've introduced it to many of our clients.

Pros

All communication is literally on one page, so you don't have to learn its navigation. Cuts the learning curve.
User interface is very simple. WYSIWYG.
The mobile app works well and I like how it syncs with the desktop version.
Just discovered the Dropbox sync. Very cool. Works way better than Dropbox at sharing files!

Cons

My biggest wishlist item is email integration. We previously used Insightly and that was an amazing feature it had: customers email you saying, "Do this thing for me," and you could click and have it upload and assign the task in Insightly. I'd rate SamePage a 10 if it had that. (But Insightly had too many other nonstarters for us, so we bit the bullet and changed to SP).
While I said navigation was easy, sometimes it's "too easy." You can overthink what you're trying to do and the program is not flexible like others are. There's pretty much only 1 way to do anything. For example, sometimes it's confusing which parts of a page are shared and which ones aren't. Wish that was ID'd better
Don't like having to scroll to the bottom of the task list to add a new task. Since we primarily use SP for tasks, wish it had a "create task" button that could be clicked from anywhere, not just in its task section

Likelihood to Recommend

We only use Samepage (SP) for project management. I tried watching some YouTube videos when we first started using the program, and their way of using SP made no sense to me (education industry). So the videos weren't helpful for how we use SP, even for generalizing about tips/shortcuts. Therefore, my answer is "use SP for project management and it will be a good choice for you to keep up with project statuses."
