Use Cases and Deployment Scope

SAP Concur is being used to manage our official tours. HR has provided employees access to SAP Concur for booking official trips and to reimburse our travel expenses. SAP Concur has simplified this process. Earlier, employees has to inform HR for travel and hotel booking with dates and place details. Further, we had to submit HOD approval sheet along with all the official tour bills for reimbursement to HR. SAP Concur has simplified this tedious process.

Pros

Tour booking has become hassel free with SAP Concur.
Reimbursement of travel expenses has become easier.
SAP Concur has brought transparency in booking and reimbursement process for expenses occured for official tour.

Cons

If claim is not approved, submission of bills is difficult.
Sometimes it shows error message during uploading of receipts.
User interface appears older or dull.

Likelihood to Recommend

SAP Concur is online integrated with the booking system. Therefore, it is a very easy and hassle-free task for official tour booking. It allows us to book from a remote location also. Tracking of submitted bills is also easy. In recent updates, we can easily find the status of the approved and unapproved bills.

SAP Concur is our end-to-end solution for managing employee travel and expenses. travel and expense management was becoming highly cumbersome with manual paper-based processes.We implemented SAP Concur and it streamlined our T&E processes tremendously. The mobile app allows employees to book travel, submit expenses, and get approvals on-the-go. Data flows directly into our ERP system, ensuring our financial data is up-to-date.

Pros

Automated expense reporting - Employees capture receipts and expense items via mobile, eliminating paper forms and streamlining approvals.
Travel booking integration - Integrated online booking tool allows policy compliance and captures travel data seamlessly.

Cons

UI & UX, compared to other solutions we considered like Brex & Ramp it looks very old and outdated
Travel integrations - Expanding integrations with additional travel suppliers could reduce manual booking and data entry.

It has been mainly used for planning our business travels and getting reimbursements. If there is any reallocation expense we can submit everything and get the claim easily within few steps. Helps lot for expense management. Now the Product has been updated with ome more features with is smooth to use. It plays a vital role in finance.

Pros

Getting Reallocation expense is very much simpler.
In recent update we can easily know the active bills, claimed bills everything.
Team outing option is quite attractive, for this itself we used to plan always.
Easy to Submit,it and track from remote.

Cons

In travel planning some errors are occurring.
Resubmitting the returned claims are difficult.
Notification is lagging, so it is getting longer to get the approvals.

While getting reallocation expense, including travel , packers and movers cost, Room, Food ,Laundry everything i have submitted together and got approval from HR and Director and got the amount within a week. It was very much attractable for me. There will limited cost for some categories for a particular day if we want submit them together, there is some difficult so taking long time to submit everything separately.

We are using SAP Concur for travel and expense management. It has simplified the travel and expense management process for us and helped us to save a lot of time. We are able to use it on mobile and upload receipts directly into the same. It also helped us to control our spending.

As per me it is well suited for medium and large organizations. It enables you to simplify expense and travel management process, saves time and improves productivity. Concur completely change the way we book travels and claim expenses. It is now much more simple to book flights and hotels, have it available on the mobile phone, and have expenses receipts integrates automatically, or scanned using the mobile phone, and approved using the appropriate workflows. This is not only more efficient, but also more transparent and avoids late or lost claims.

I use SAP Concur on a daily basis in my current automotive industry. It allows me to reduce financial errors and save time by automating manual accounting tasks.

Pros

It has mobile apps for Android and iOS devices.
SAP Concur has three modules on one place: Expense, Invoice and Travel Management modules.
Through SAP Concur, I have been able to eradicate errors by matching POs, invoices and receivables.
Capture reports and receipts automatically via OCR.

Cons

Concur Travel although it is affected by geographical area, it doesn’t produce all hotels and reservations that I need when booking online.

Travel, Invoice and expense management can be tedious, hectic and time consuming when performed manually. i would recommend SAP Concur since it automates all repetitive manual accounting tasks.

Ever since 2019, as a Financial Analyst in my previous organization, I have been using SAP Concur to automate repetitive accounting tasks. I am still using it to carry out procedures such as AP, AR, and general ledger. Automation.

SAP Concur has mobile applications for iOS and Android devices.
It offers capabilities that automate complex and repetitive accounting processes.
In addition, SAP Concur offers invoice, travel, and expense modules in one place.
It eradicates errors when paying vendors by matching POs, invoices, and receivables.

Cons

Even though SAP Concur has a mobile application, it doesn’t offer all capabilities available on a cloud system.

One opportunity is related to the difference between the IOF and the dollar in Brazil, on my last international trip the total difference was more than 10% less than the reimbursement and this generates rework.
