Seismic Learning - Valuable for what it provides
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Seismic Learning helps us to effectively roll out new products, tools, and processes internally. We use Seismic Learning to create short training programs, as well as certificate programs to adhere to regulatory compliance. All of this is internal to our organization. We have heavily used Seismic Learning to familiarize users with a new system or product, and ensure that they comprehend the features before providing access to the new system or product itself using Seismic Learning's quiz -like features.
Pros
- Ease of set up
- Ability to easily restructure existing learning content
- Customizability in how lessons are assigned
Cons
- The UI of Seismic Learning is clunky at times, especially for content creators
- Seismic Learning is missing an automated reminder feature
- I'd like to see more "knowledge check" features that ensure comprehension of the material covered
Likelihood to Recommend
Seismic Learning is well suited for organizations that have a lot of people that may be creating training, and they want all of the training to be housed in a central system.
Seismic Learning is well equipped for beginners to use to create their own lessons. Seismic Learning doesn't have many features that help you capture your own screen, so creating software training isn't very straightforward.
