What is SendFox?

A tool to automatically send customized emails to subscribers, followers, and fans.

SendFox is an email marketing tool designed specifically for content creators that lets users compose and send unlimited customized emails.

SendFox combines automation and customization to help create simple, beautiful, and effective emails in less time. Users can automatically draft emails with SendFox’s integrated weekly Smart Campaigns and RSS content updates, so fans will get content directly in their inbox. This feature is presented as ideal for podcasters, bloggers, and YouTubers who regularly release new content and helps to keep eager followers happy.

SendFox also helps users create custom, branded Smart Pages and landing pages to promote on social bios or in an email signature to get a name and content out there (rate, review, and subscribe). Smart Pages show off content from YouTube, podcast, and social media, to make it simple for followers to see all content in one place. For an existing subscriber base, users can upload a list of existing contacts and subscribers to SendFox and start creating and sending emails.

SendFox aims to help users turn followers into loyal fans and leads into customers. Its automation templates are used to create an automated welcome email program to push people to popular content and drive subscriptions. Sending a series of emails based on clicks and opens can also be done, and with SendFox’s built-in scheduling and automation capabilities, it can be run automatically.

Through its interface emails, automations, contacts, and high-level performance numbers and details can be seen at a glance. Designed specifically for content creators, SendFox helps cover all the important marketing bases, from forms and CRM to email campaigns and integrations. Ultimately users can build simple, branded emails and landing pages to grow the business and track its performance all in one platform.

Super simple, cheap emails to customers!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use SendFox to send emails to a medium-sized email database. The emails I send are irregular. They will be used for opening challenges and sending all the challenge emails and then stop for a number of months. They don't directly contribute to my income so a service where I pay a lot per month when I'm over "so many email addresses" is not suitable for me. I don't mind minimal branding for my emails which this has.

Pros

  • Easy to send emails as an automated sequence or single blast email.
  • Can break customers into separate lists but still only charged per contact.
  • Charges as a lifetime deal for so many contacts rather than monthly.

Cons

  • More customization in the email builder.
  • More customization on the smart pages (aka Landing page).
  • Forms have low customization and older style graphical look.

Return on Investment

  • It's been the service I've used for daily emails for group challenges - Meaning that I had a service that was cheaper than others AND was reliable. When the customers got the emails reliably, I retained them, customers.
  • It has been less flexible in terms of customization - This hasn't had a tangible benefit but may have had a lead-on effect of the emails not always looking as professional to the customer.
  • It is much cheaper than other services meaning I've saved likely $2000+ based on the size of my email list (which is a lot for my small business!).
