Softbook

Softbook is a learning management system built for organizations that teach online and earn from it: online schools and academies, independent course creators, and companies that onboard and train their staff. It combines course delivery, sales, a CRM and marketing in one product that shares a single student base.

Course delivery

Instructors assemble courses from modules and lessons with video, PDF, audio, quizzes and homework. Lessons can open on a drip schedule or on fixed dates. Quizzes support eight question types, homework can be answered with a voice recording, and both can be graded automatically. Graduates receive certificates with a serial number and a QR code for public verification.

Sales and CRM

Schools sell single courses, bundles and subscriptions, run promo codes and place checkout directly on their landing pages. Every order becomes a deal in the built-in CRM, and automations can enroll the buyer, send an email or Telegram message, add them to a study group or call a webhook. Softbook charges no commission on course sales.

Marketing and analytics

Email and Telegram campaigns, Telegram chatbots that accept payment inside the chat, and a website builder that runs on the school's own domain are part of the platform. Analytics show course drop-off points and which traffic sources generate revenue.

Mobile app

Students and the school team use the same Softbook LMS app for iOS and Android: learners take lessons, quizzes and homework, while staff review submissions and follow deals and orders.
