Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Thinkific for my courses, digital download lead magnets, and digital workbooks. The business problems I solve are for job seekers, providing out-of-the-box thinking search strategies as well as leveraging AI for building new income streams for the everyday person even if they are not looking to leave their current employer. Thinkific allows me to create amazing landing pages, ability to email and create funnels, and so much more. It's a convenient one stop shop and I love it!

Pros

  • The accelerator program.
  • Providing tips on how to succeed using their platform.
  • User-friendly setup for putting together landing pages and course uploads.
  • The platform is very intuitive and you don't have to have tech skills to use the platform.

Cons

  • I wish bulk orders could be available for ALL plans not only the higher paying plans.
  • I wish I knew how SEO worked with Thinkific because I don't think I am doing it correctly.
  • I do a lot of searches in Google to figure out things like how to space in Thinkific for some of its features when working on my landing page. Apparently, there are some features that do not space and you have to use html to get the words to space in paragraph form and etc.

Return on Investment

  • Well, let me tell you this! I literally launched a unlocking new income streams with AI course on a Sunday and started getting sales within 12 hours, then within 3-4 days ended up getting 4 sales. About 7 more people said they will be buying the course as soon as they get paid since the course was launched on rent/mortgage day (aka June 1st).
  • My other course was priced higher and only ended up getting 3 sales within 3 weeks. However, what it did show me (it was my first course I've ever done let alone have up on Thinkific) is that I needed to revamp my course as well as landing page. Through the Accelerator program, I realized that my quality was WAY off and the landing page was NO WHERE at the level it should have been. So, that program helped a ton! Now, the course is revamped (just finished it two days ago), but this time around I am going to have a marketing plan in place before launching. So, the launch won't happen for another 3-4 weeks!
  • I like that payment comes very quickly. I typically receive payment within 1-2 business days. Also, there is not a huge payment taken out of the sale as a whole.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Thinkific is a platform like no other. I feel that Thinkific, the platform, has made it easy for me to connect with my clients in a simplified way without having to pay extra per product and service. I create an average of 5-6 courses per year and host 10 webinars per year. Being able to integrate my experiences with my audience allows me to meet them where they are. For those looking for a one-time offer, there are webinars or a mini-course available. If they want a longer-term commitment, they can join my community through flagship courses and private communities. Another selling point is the mobile app for people on the go, and when the company scales, you're able to white-label. What people want nowadays is to be able to do everything in one site and not have to go anywhere else, and Thinkific does just that.

Pros

  • Courses
  • Integration
  • Support Team.
  • Website

Cons

  • Having its own email marketing platform outside of using Zapier.
  • Creating lower cost options.
  • Affirm Payment Options.
  • More website customization features.

Return on Investment

  • No email marketing makes it more difficult to collect leads.
  • Price can be a barrier at time for small businesses who don't have revenue.
  • Easy to use and helps with my business needs vs platforms like Squarespace.
  • Community building through workshops and webinars Thinkific host.
  • Access to educational resources and mobile app.

Why I will always use Thinkific

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Thinkific for my online business course. This course was created so my students would have ease with learning. I highly enjoy that it’s very simple to set up, it can be done quickly and is constantly being updated. My students enjoy that it’s smooth, it has a very nice luxury look. And that they are able to start and stop whenever they please.

Pros

  • Constantly updates the sites program for better use to the admin and enrollees
  • Being able to have the option of a app to help support your brand and business more
  • Allows you to edit and upload right from any mobile device. Making updates for the admin easier and quicker to get content out.
  • Allows you to preview everything you do and have it in drafts. This makes your creation process smooth and not rushed
  • Provides you training beyond just the course set up. This allows you to really grow and better your business and brand with great leadership

Cons

  • I think the beginner course should have at least 2 admin options. As a small owner when you are starting to sprout but don’t have a huge team yet. The cost can be helpful if the beginner rate then jumping straight to the higher advanced.

Return on Investment

  • POSTIVE impact more students enrolled i have had no negative reviews or feedback from any enrollment since starting.
