Great platform to stay organized and save time for your team!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

TeamUp helped keep our team organized with the many meetings, projects, etc., we had going on at a given time and kept us on the same page.

Pros

  • Organization
  • User friendly.
  • Time management.

Cons

  • More help with the initial setup.

Likelihood to Recommend

TeamUp is well suited for busy offices where every second counts because you are so busy and need things to stay very organized. This is also helpful with project management and situations where a lot of people are involved in certain projects. It might not be as helpful to someone who is just in charge of one specific project and doesn't have a lot of "hats" to wear and things to keep organized where a regular email calendar might suffice.

Fairly strong management for gyms, clubs, and classes

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use TeamUp for all of our event registration. When swimmers want to sign up for one of our weekly swims or a big event like an Alcatraz Swim, they use the TeamUp calendar embedded on our website, create a profile, pay for the event, complete the waiver, and register for the event. Almost 100% of our revenue comes through these sign-ups, and we use the automatically created customer database for marketing.

Pros

  • Simplified customer signups.
  • Customer service when we have unique problems.
  • Makes it easy to accept payments.

Cons

  • Occasionally confusing functionality for the users.
  • Some limited options for how registrations are set up.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's great for regular, recurring signups, which would be ideal for a gym or similar organization that holds classes that customers need to sign up for. For our weekly Berkeley swims, it's perfect. Customers can pay per class, buy a "10 swim pack," or buy an annual pass. They can set it to automatically register for a certain class that happens every week, or they can just sign up individually. We set the coach for each session, which allows our staff the functionality they need, and allows customers to see who from our staff will be there.

We also host large events that often have 100+ participants, including the Alcatraz Swim. If we were just doing these events we would probably be looking for another registration program that people are more familiar with. However, using TeamUp for both has worked fine.
