Vantage cloud is geared toward large data warehouses with need for consistency, large language model, development and production functionality and testing sandbox. It has the flexibility to grow with your organization and provide analytics to support improved architecture and workloads. They have a collaborative team that works within our organization to ensure we are getting the most out of our warehouse.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Teradata Vantage as our enterprise data warehouse platform. We ingest data from internal systems (i.e. EHR, HR, GL) and external vendors (i.e. benchmarking, claims, reference data) in order to provide insights for patient care, finance and labor forecasting, operational reporting, and many other use cases throughout the organization. Teradata provides us with the ability to quickly ingest large volumes of this data and make it available to our business intelligence and advanced analytics applications.

In my experience, Teradata is well suited organizations who have a firm grasp of their needs, have a moderate to advanced level of technical knowledge, and are able to integrate or replace existing technologies with the Teradata platform as needed. I've networked with other Teradata customers from large national banks to small 10-20 employee niche data related businesses; if your data can take advantage of Teradata's platform performance, it can be a great solution.

Today we use Teradata Vantage as the central tool for managing all the Bank's information. It serves as our central repository to ensure data accuracy, a unified data view, and secure information handling." We are also leveraging Vantage's analytical capabilities to develop predictive models based on the information stored in the datawarehouse, without needing to transfer it to another technological solution and executing everything in-database.

I believe it should deepen its efforts in the native integration of analytics functionalities, machine learning, generative AI, and AI agents. Additionally, it should focus on providing basic data governance solutions to avoid relying on third-party tools

Teradata is a vendor who has an extensive quantity of services, for our company is a needed in a day-by-day support. A company oriented to data driven culture, Teradata brings an excellent support. In my organization we use Teradata Vantage, Analytics and Data warehousing solution. I would recommend to contract Teradata to other customers because all the necessities that they could have could be solved by Teradata services and suites of solutions.

Based in my professional experience, I only can describe scenarios where Teradata Vantage is well suited. For companies with a large quantity of data with a complex scenario (large quantity of applications) Teradata brings a complete solution oriented to a BI Strategy for all the areas of the company. Teradata Vantage brings possibilities of Warehouse and Data Lake solution.

We already don´t know a lot of functionalities about Teradata Vantage. For us the advantage is that as part of technology area we will not put focus in patching and upgrades execution. Based on less scenarios we handdle a lot of sensitive data and we are no authorize to keep this in cloud

I use Teradata from the SQL Assistant to perform queries on the Banco Patagonia data warehouse to analyze incident cases, test cases, and test verification. I can't find any product issues in my organization. I work as a senior data analyst, performing queries on the Teradata database on which our data warehouse is built.
