Overall Satisfaction with Teradata Vantage

Today we use Teradata Vantage as the central tool for managing all the Bank's information. It serves as our central repository to ensure data accuracy, a unified data view, and secure information handling." We are also leveraging Vantage's analytical capabilities to develop predictive models based on the information stored in the datawarehouse, without needing to transfer it to another technological solution and executing everything in-database.

We recently began using Vantage for our analytics journey. At first, it was challenging to get familiar with the wide range of available functions and their parameters. We had to go through a process of training and testing, but ultimately the benefits are substantial—especially the ability to avoid moving data to another platform or solution, and to run functions natively, leveraging the full Teradata Vantage architecture.

Teradata Vantage is a powerful tool for handling large volumes of information and demanding users. I believe it should deepen its efforts in the native integration of analytics functionalities, machine learning, generative AI, and AI agents. Additionally, it should focus on providing basic data governance solutions to avoid relying on third-party tools
