What is Timeclock.Kiwi?

Timeclock.Kiwi is a cloud time clock built for workshops, factories, sites and shift-based teams. Staff clock in on a shared kiosk (tablet, PC or phone) or their own device, with optional photo capture, PINs and location restrictions to stop buddy punching.

Track plain hours, or log time against jobs and tasks so managers know what every job really costs. The Live Floor shows who is working on what right now, with job budgets and progress. Breaks, materials, notes and cost codes are all captured alongside the time.

Rosters are built with the shift scheduler and compared with what was actually worked: late arrivals, no-shows and cover shifts are flagged automatically. Fair Workweek notice periods and shift change logs are supported.

Approved timesheets export to Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, ADP, Gusto, Employment Hero, iPayroll, Smartly, PayHero and more, or to Excel/CSV with employee codes and pay rates. GDPR tools include data retention settings, worker data export and a DPA.

Pricing is per kiosk rather than per employee: from $5 USD per kiosk per month, dropping to $3 as more kiosks are added. Rosters are a flat $10 USD per month each with unlimited staff. Every plan starts with a free 3 month trial.

The Staff Were Able to Start Using it Straight Away, Looks Really Nice

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The staff uses it to clock in and out every day. They were able to start using it straight away, they didn't need to be taught as it is really simple. The setup was also simple and has saved me lots of time already. Very happy so far as this is way more reliable than my old time clock that would break all the time and had issues with daylight savings.

Pros

  • Cheap, monthly cost is very good. Couldn't find a better alternative.
  • Can use an old tablet like an ipad if you have one lying around.

Cons

  • Adding in all the jobs manually is time consuming, looking forward to getting the API.

  • Having users have a PIN to sign in
  • Easy to export the data in the format that we need for payroll

It has been great to use. It is simple setup and getting the data into my payroll is incredibly easy. The users also didn't need to be taught how to use it they just got it straight away.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It has really been fantastic to use. The boys found it easy to figure out and it has been easy to get all the payroll data. Also the features for automatically calculating break times and shift rounding are really handy. Fixing mistakes through the portal is also great because you can just click on the bar for that shift and quickly fix any mistakes.

  • None, the software is very easy to use. Nothing to complain about.
