Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have used UiPath Automation Platform to automate various business processes. Following are some of the business problems that we have Automated via UiPath Automation Platform,

1. Journal entry, Posting, And approval automation process: The problem statement was that various business teams work, creating, and posting the journals to the ERP manually.

2. MIP automation: The problem statement was that various teams were downloading MIP templates from ERP systems manually, which we have automated via path

3. GWS invoice creation and posting: The problem statement was to export the invoices of different GWS clients from ERP and send those invoices to account leads of the clients.

Pros

UI automations
Seamless API integration or UI integration with third-party applications
Extremely good in scaling up the bots according to the Load

Cons

One of the major problem which I see is that if one bot is using a VM, another bot cannot use the VM at the same time, even though the existing process is not consuming that much memory or processor. There should be some kind of virtualization for the bots to use the same vm for multiple processes simultaneously.

Well suited scenarios:

1. UiPath Automation Platform perform extremely well in case of UI UX automation, So if you’re use case require UI automations, then your part is an extremely good choice

Less appropriate:

UiPath Automation Platform is not a good choice for the use cases which require to play with the big data because at the end of the day, it runs the bot on VM machines, so everything boils down to the specifications of the machines on which the bot is running

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have been using UiPath for a number of years now to digitalize HR service processes within the whole employee lifecycle. RPA is now at the core of our operations and for us it is an easy and reliable way to speed up simple repetitive tasks, take pressure from more complex ones and formalize/standardize our service delivery.

Pros

Orchestration of multiple processes (incl. prioritization, scheduling)
Error tracking/logs
Integration with other vendors (OCR)

Cons

Studio is running quite slow for us
It could produce its own documentation throughout the screens used
We have trouble keeping and cleaning up our 200+ processes with all the new frameworks (Windows-Legacy -> Legacy, new Studio versions...)

Likelihood to Recommend

Day-to-day transactional tasks that follow strict guidelines are easy to be exploited with UiPath.

Some more complex, creative skills are way tougher to digitalize.

You can really automate any system, website, anything, without particular integration, but I would recommend using APIs and integrations as frequently as possible within UiPath. Mail management f.e. can be easily integrated with Microsoft Graph API.

I came across this tool during one of the most tedious moments in my career. The company is on the verge of major organization re-structuring, and like most start-ups, most of the data are in a spreadsheet, so when I have to lead account deactivation and or account deletion, it has to be done in a manual way, with few hundreds within the list, it is for sure a very time consuming with prone to mistake kind of job, after research and read from many forums, I decided to use this tool to execute the step by step (RPA Mode) and all our intentions were achieved in less than 2 hours, It was neat, quick and do what you ask it to do.

Structured tasks.
Structured flows.

Cons

It is literally work by taking over the machine, maybe a background work would be awesome.

It will do what you ask it to do; we defined the flow and ran the so-called robot, it has helped us to reduce lots of time and the possibility of manual mistakes, and in the end, the business was satisfied with our result. Will we use the tool again for the same process? we will, in the end, the tool is powerful and can be expanded to further use.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

By using UiPath Automation Platform, we create automation projects for repetitive tasks, which are uploaded to the Orchestrator. The end user can run the automation BOT from the assistant, which saves a significant amount of time and effort. Not only does UiPath Automation Platform save money, but it also ensures the process is done with a high degree of accuracy. Our team has been using this tool for the last two years and has delivered multiple automation projects to our clients, resulting in cost savings, error reduction, and decreased manual effort.

We can use UiPath to automate various projects that are repeatable, business rule driven, or high volume. Even though these types of projects are always boring and time consuming tasks, UiPath makes it easy to complete the tasks. Thus it helps to increase employee satisfaction as well as profit of organization.

High volume or lengthy tasks are eligible for UiPath automation.
Business rule driven projects are good contestant for UiPath Automation.

Cons

UiPath Automation should integrate with Facebook, that will help to improve its options in automation.
If an activity to check a page is logged in or not will be a good addition to UiPath activities.
Improving the selector options of UiPath will make it easy for users to work on.

UiPath Automation is good platform to automate SAP software. I have been using UiPath to automate SAP software for my projects and it really makes the organization/clients more profitable since SAP consultants are highly paid employees and if UiPath could automate SAP effectively, it could replace those employees as well as it is more faster when compared to humans.

Currently, I'm using the UiPath RPA tool community edition to understand and validate the fullest feature of the tool. As per my current use, I found the tool is really very helpful for building the Bots to mimic human repetitive tasks. And the orchestrator UI is simple and it delivers the full efficiency of creating credentials and assigning it to the users. Scheduling the bots option is also there.

Pros

Avoids human intervention
Unattended Bots helps in running the bot at anytime
Scheduling of bots is achievable and the features of UiPath really working well

Cons

RPA Workspace has to be improved
The sequence view is not as expected, the view has to be changed to user friendly
Capturing of some objects not working

To automate repetitive tasks UiPath can be really helpful. For processing the invoices we can use UiPath to automate the process. It will be well suited where we can do excel automation, web automation, and sap automation. Using UiPath we can build an advanced bot to perform human actions and using this we can minimize human efforts.

Uipath can speed up and streamline any job through its advanced AI and robotic automation capabilities. I like the way we can integrate our routine data and third-party solution workflows with UiPath RPA so quickly without having any specific coding knowledge.

Pros

The implementation was easy and it offers a great community and customer service, it is a good product to work with and design a solution quickly, I liked the technologies that this tool offers, it greatly optimizes the way of working.
Makes it easy to develop and automate some heavy and repetitive processes.

Cons

It seems to me that the only negative is the license, which is a bit expensive, I hope that one day the prices will drop, although it is still worth it.

It is a splendid platform that offers features for automation of advanced business processes, I liked it because it increases productivity, it offers a data table to be able to filter data through SQL and web page scanning and data extraction, I liked the community and the UiPath Academy, a very complete RPA platform that does a good job is great.

UiPath has been using throughout the organization. We started with IT department but now it spread across the department because it is very useful. Mostly we addressed accounting issues and jobs with UiPath because it is expert and easy to develop on SAP. Our robotics COE team who are looking for new opportunities and our business analyst are sharing the details with developers.

Pros

If you are looking to automate some SAP jobs, it's best.
If you have a problem with data manipulating UiPath best for this.
Documentation understanding works very good.

Cons

Customer Support improvement needed.
UiPath Academy - please add more courses to learn.
AI factor.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you know the details of the process for each step and it static process not dynamically change the thing, UiPath is best to automate that process. But, if the process needs some human decision and [requires] changing some part after making a decision, it less suitable for RPA.

I am having a great experience with UiPath RPA. Nowadays it has become a famous tool

for dealing with image-based automation. It can be used so comfortably. The biggest plus is that it is incredibly easy to use. I highly

appreciate the way it gives me perfect reporting and also gives me clear-cut

ideas about the processes. It is immensely easy for monitoring the key

operations.

Pros

If there is a need to share data mutually with other platforms then UiPath is the best tool. It makes me much [more] confident by giving me a full-fledged authority on data [...] for automating even complex or hard processes.
The best thing about it is that it is very much user-friendly. Moreover, it can be easily adopted.
This is the most reliable tool for making robots. This is indeed the best ever tool for automating multiple processes as well as plugins.

Cons

This is the most user-friendly tool. The only drawback is that people that are having less knowledge about programming, have to face difficulty in its use. Due [to] which they have to learn complete knowledge in order to have complete command of it.
Otherwise I do not have any complaint against this RPA.
