What is UXArmy?
UXArmy is a remote user research platform designed to get user insights throughout the development cycle. Teams can run unmoderated usability tests, surveys, card sorting, tree testing, interviews and focus groups. Teams can test native mobile apps, live websites, prototypes, images, copies and videos.
UXArmy offers recording of the full testing experience across both desktop and mobile devices, and native mobile app testing. Its multilingual capabilities, global participant panel (strongly established in Asia-Pacific), and flexible study types make UXArmy a viable platform for localised and cross-market UX research.
UXArmy features
- Native mobile app testing (iOS & Android) - It can test actual mobile apps not just clickable screens or prototypes and watch how users interact in a realistic environment. This helps catch mobile UX friction before or after release, which many browser-only tools miss.
- Research across languages and regions - UXArmy supports 17+ tester UI languages, auto-transcription in 23 languages, and translation of those transcripts into 67 languages. That means teams can collect insights in local languages and still review them in English.
- Asia-Pacific participant network - UXArmy offers access to a diverse global participant panel, boasting strong coverage in Asia-Pacific. Teams can target by demographics, region, language, and device type or invite their own users. Panel access is available across paid plans.
- One platform, multiple research methods Instead of stitching 3–4 tools together, teams can run usability tests, surveys, card sorting, and tree testing in one workflow and track both qualitative and quantitative evidence.
- Behavior + feedback, side by side - UXArmy doesn’t just give “what users said.” It also shows “what they did” — screen/audio/video recordings, hesitation points, task success, misclicks, backtracking, etc. This helps teams tell a clear story to stakeholders.
Key Features
- Unmoderated Usability Testing - Run task-based tests on live websites, prototypes, and native mobile apps. Captures screen, audio, and video so you can see the actual journey without being in the room.
- Moderated Studies / Live Interviews Talk to participants in real time, share screens, capture recordings, and dig into the “why” behind their behaviour. Ideal for deep discovery or concept validation.
- Surveys Build advanced surveys with branching logic, matrices, rating scales, and spoken responses to validate assumptions and collect quant and qual in one run.
- Card Sorting (Open / Closed / Hybrid) Understand how users expect information to be grouped and labeled. Supports hybrid sorting, for testing a proposed structure while still letting users create their own categories.
- Tree Testing Measure findability and navigation clarity. Displays where users expect to click, where they get lost, and which labels cause confusion before you lock down IA.
- Participant Recruitment Recruit from UXArmy’s panel (strong in Asia-Pacific) or invite users via link. Target by role, market, industry, device, etc.
- Multilingual Research & Analysis Tester UI in 17+ languages, transcription across 23 languages, and translation of transcripts into 67 languages. This supports global rollouts and localised product testing without needing multiple vendors.
- Insights & Reporting Visualise task success, friction points, click paths, and behavioral patterns. Export summaries and clips for stakeholders so product/design can act quickly.
