Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Webex App as a form of internal communication for both messaging and internal meetings. We also use it to host clients and prospects for virtual meeting rooms. It is a great source of collaboration to be able to easily message team members from all across the world. I enjoy Webex App.

It perfectly fits a company with employees who are remote. It feels like I am at the office with people at times, yet I am in Indianapolis, and mostly everyone else is in Cincinnati. The app is easy to use from a mobile standpoint, and on both the desktop and mobile versions, I have never experienced poor audio or video quality.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Webex App with Cisco TAC, and with some customers.

It's very usefull for customers presentations. We have all the features we need : File sharing, large scale meeting, video presentations

We use Webex for online conferences and team meetings.. We also do webinars using Webex apps and also to conduct interviews. Webex Apps provides permanent links that can be reused and repurposed for a different meeting or seminar

Webex App helps in conducting meetings smoothly with its noise reduction with the new AI features. There were times where two big rooms full of people were on a Webex meeting and the noise reduction feature helped the conference to run smoothly and without any pauses or holds

Webex App also help us for documentation and keep track if progress on tasks

Webex Meeting, UCM Calling, Chat & Presence

Pros

Good Feature Set (especially in Chat, sometimes even better than messaging apps like WhatsApp, Signal) imo
Clear Log Structure & Log collection is easy
Updates can be hold back (slow channel) for a longer time

Cons

There are a lot of bugs - some smaller ones, that are "okay" to work with and some big bugs that prevent employees from work / prevent us admins to roll out newer versions
UCM Calling in Webex App is often causing problems - due to complex infrastructure with ccuc and expressway mra setup
