Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In our enterprise level company, Winshuttle was serving as central Master Data Management and Data Governance application. Winshuttle is exposed to around 5000 – 6000 employees and to more than 200 external contractors and is enabled across the 29 countries we operate in. Here are few of the most frequent and useful utilizations of Winshuttle:

- As Master data management and governance application for BP Customer, BP Vendor, Material/Product and Finance data domains
- It has complex ticketing workflows with country specifics and exceptions, many rule based validations and derivations
- Ticketing system for processing master data by all 29 countries
- It is integrated with Microsoft Dynamics365, SAP CRM, S/4 HANA and PowerBI systems

  • Supports very complex and challenging derivations
  • Allows parallel and rule-based workflows
  • It is extremely easy to be configured and maintained
  • Very easy to be customized and adapt to our company-specific processes and needs
  • Very intuitive UI and navigation

Cons

  • User access and Licence management is manual and would be better to be managed by other system via integration
  • Winshuttle SQL database has room to be improved and is using very old MS SQL version
  • Winshuttle Form loading time is slow when used by many users at ones
  • Tickets history logs are not convenient and intuitive

  • Winshuttle improved the E2E Material data creation time from 40 days to around 8 days

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have been using Wnshuttle for SAP Process Automation in different Departments including Finance, Logistics, Customer care among others. We use it for bstch input operations. It helps also with data quality control and avoids the development of customized Z Programs to keep using the standard SAP Transactions which ultimately eases SAP system upgrades.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The user interface which means GUI is too easy to use. Many user-friendly scripting features reduce the need to write complex scripts. Editing the script is also very easy and too simple like a piece of cake. And we use it for SAP Finance automation. Winshuttle application feasibility with other applications is too good.

  • Clear message when the upload has failed.
