Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use WinShuttle in a number of different departments in my organization. It is perfect to do data loads and to implement and test new functionality in SAP. It is also very user-friendly for non-IT people to use and saves them a ton of time on a day to day basis.

Pros and Cons

Pros

User friendly for non-IT to use.
Log all positive and negative messages within a load.
Saves a lot of time when creating and updating data in SAP.

Cons

Cannot use Excel when WinShuttle is in use.

Return on Investment

The ROI that WinShuttle has is great - you save a lot of time and money when you are using WinShuttle.

Alternatives Considered

Originally we were using LSMWs in SAP but the error logs were not an easy read and you did not know if you had an issue until the entire LSMW was complete. With WinShuttle you can easily read the error logs right away and see if you have any issues with your script and stop the script to fix any data issues and then restart again.

Likelihood to Recommend

WinShuttle is very well suited to load any type of master data and transaction where the same actions are being done repeatedly.

if we will tell what is winshuttle then it is software is used for data movement, validation, and collection of SAP ERP data. It can be used by individual data stewards who manage the upload/download of data from Excel to into your ERP systems all the way to entire departments and organizations to automate and streamline data-based business processes with web forms and workflow applications and. Winshuttle is fortunate to have a large and active user community around the world
