I work at a school and WordPress is essential to our everyday options. It is the backbone of our website that serves as the key resource for students, faculty, staff, alums, and families. I also use WordPress for my personal portfolio site. The content management system makes it simply to add new pages or download plug-ins to customize the functionality of your site.

Pros

Cons

Speed, having large image files, videos, and a large number of plug-ins can slow down the website.
Improve Gutenberg Editor to make it less rigid.
Add filter to remove spam/bot comments.

Likelihood to Recommend

WordPress is the best in the business. It is the most customizable and versatile web software. I would recommend it for nearly everyone from a small business to a large corporation. I use their free blog for my personal site. For an art portfolio or microsite, another drag and drop platform such as SquareSpace may be more user-friendly if you have limited web experience. It does require some tech saavy to use WordPress but once you understand the system the options are limitless.

The platform is so stable and there are a lot of tools and plugins to use it in the best wey you requiere. From my side, I have a company page, a blog, contact forms, and that's it

Basic webpages and or communities for business. Yo do not need to have an entire IT department nor invest a lot in tools and technology. It may not solve all the needs you have in the way you would like but it does pretty much a good job. And to make it look more professional, you can purchase a template from several vendor. Both themes and plugins are so easy to install and configure. It es super easy to use

I use WordPress for my website and blog. I chose it because it is flexible and fairly easy to learn. I chose a paid version of WordPress to access technical support. Support is responsive and yes, you can interact with an actual human being! I also chose the paid version because it allows me to restrict scraping by AI bots.

We use Wordpress to host our website and CRM. We are excited about using it as a CRM because the fields and possibilities are endless and it can be custom-tailored to our needs. The website is also very easy to update, change, and post on. Wordpress is very user-friendly and intuitive to use.

Wordpress is super easy to use and update your website. Creating the CRM has been more challenging, but will be worth it. I also really wish Wordpress had a better chat or support feature to guide me through basic updates or changes I'd like to make so I don't have to ask our web developer for help. Wordpress integrations are also great.

We use WordPress primarily for creating e-commerce web stores across various industries such as education, fashion, and marketing. WordPress requires no prior experience in coding to develope the webpages and we can integrate various plugings from the store to add more features to the website like - payment gateway, social share buttons. We streamline the development process, enhance functionality, and cater to the specific needs of different business sectors.

WordPress is user-friendly and good for SEO as well
Lots of customization is available through plugins.
User Management and access control is better than other CMS
Easy E-commerce Integration with woocommerce plugin.

Cons

Security of the website could improve.
Speed of the websites is not that great..after installing 7-8 plugins I've found.
There are various plugins of poor quality that can be improve in my opinion.

WordPress is a great platform for hosting a Web Site and its content. It not only allows you to create a Web Site and manage its content but also to host Coupons, Blogs, and other features. It has been very good as a Marketing Web Site platform, including in situations where multiple Web sites are hosted for different Divisions.

It is a bit hard for non-technical users to administer it since the back end of WordPress involves PHP and JavaScript.
Some users may not like the interface for composing and publishing content or may not remember to publish their work and leave it in Draft mode.
There may be a need to further publicize the formal training program from WordPress with certifications. In past roles we have needed to document everything we do in it very closely and do a great deal of deskside coaching, more so than with other Web content platforms.

Likelihood to Recommend

WordPress is very well suited for a Marketing or Web Team that has skill at creating content and coding using HTML and JavaScript. It gives you back what you put into it.
It's not as appropriate for teams with low technical skill or where there is not a dedicated HTML/Web developer. But there is enough documentation and support information out there that with dedicated effort, non-technical Users can learn to use it well.

I was hired as a web developer with extensive experience to create a professional marketing and advertising platform (website) using WordPress. We required a platform similar to WordPress that would support several integrations, allow for flexibility, and yet offer frontend user-friendly usage. In order to improve the platform (website) we wanted to build, we also wanted an open source platform that allows backend coding customization. Finally, we needed a platform that would make it simple for us to fix the website SEO integration in accordance with our SEO requirements and for faster business growth.

One of the key reasons we chose to introduce WordPress was because of its ease of maintenance. We had fantastic success with WordPress because it was able to fix our problems and make our thoughts clear as we started the project.
