Use Cases and Deployment Scope

PestPac is has a lot of pros and a few cons. The pros are it is really customizable with a one size fits all - you can be a small, medium, or large organization and be able to make PestPac work for you. That also comes with some cons as it can add a layer of complexity which can make it harder to train someone. It isn't a plug and play software and everyone uses the software a little differently so what works for one may not work for someone else. It has great reporting and open API which allows us to optimize our functionality of the software. Some of the cons would be around the cost. It feels like there is a lot of nickel and dime-ing for features that should be relatively standard. When it comes to scheduling, I don't know of any better product out there though. It is great when it comes to route optimization and the efficiencies we gain through that is pretty impactful.

For any route heavy organization, PestPac is a great choice due to the route optimization. It is great for businesses that are moving more online and into the digital space. For smaller organizations, you can make PestPac work but the complexity and training would be a barrier to entry. PestPac does more modular pricing so the cost can be affordable if you aren't needing many of the add-on features, but things can add up quick if looking to incorporate basic service functions when it comes to customer service.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use WorkWave PestPac as our main productivity software. All of our customer information goes through WorkWave PestPac. We use it for customer service, scheduling, routing our employees, documenting our work, documenting customer interaction, billing, lead tracking, and even marketing. We even integrate it with other software platforms, such as our phone systems.

Easy to search for a customer by many different data points
Has a lot of customization features, such as naming service types and preset notes

Cons

Not very user friendly
Reports are difficult to create and figure out
Not easy to find the correct place to go for things such as settings or data points

Likelihood to Recommend

If all of your data is entered 100% correctly (per WorkWave PestPac standards) and you only need basic functionality, then WorkWave PestPac is great. The more functionality you need, the more they charge (EVERY module is an additional per-user cost, which can get very expensive very quickly). If you are bringing your data from another system, then be prepared to have heartburn (or hire someone to go through and fix all the data). If data is not 100% accurate, then many features don't work as smoothly as you'd like.
