What is Zanda (formerly Power Diary)?

Zanda Health, formerly Power Diary, is cloud-based practice management software for solo practitioners and group practices in mental health, rehabilitation, allied health, and wellness services. It centralizes administrative and clinical workflows for psychologists, counselors, social workers, physical and occupational therapists, speech pathologists, chiropractors, dietitians, massage therapists, and related providers.

The platform combines appointment scheduling with online booking, recurring appointments, waitlists, automated reminders, practitioner availability, room and resource management, and multi-location calendars. Client records support configurable intake forms, clinical-note templates, file storage, annotations, and edit histories. A branded client portal allows clients to book appointments, complete forms, view information, and make payments.

Zanda also provides invoicing, payment collection, and region-specific medical billing and claims workflows. Reporting covers appointments, utilization, revenue, invoices, and practitioner activity. Additional capabilities include email and SMS communication, workflow automations, team messaging, an internal practice operations manual, and integrations with services such as Stripe, Xero, Mailchimp, and Zoom. Telehealth options include an integrated Zoom service and support for practices using their own Zoom account.

BizzyAI supplies plan-dependent writing, editing, clinical-note drafting, appointment summaries, and client-history insights. Core AI allowances are included with Zanda plans, while higher-volume scribing and analytical features are offered through an optional per-user add-on. Zanda is sold through Starter and Growth subscriptions, with pricing based primarily on the number of practitioners; administrative users are included without an additional user charge on the Growth plan.

Power Diary adopted the Zanda name in November 2024 to reflect its expansion beyond its original calendar-focused product. The change was a rebrand rather than an acquisition or product migration: ownership, management, customer accounts, data, and the underlying software remained the same.
