MIP Fund Accounting is used in accounting for: general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll. The organization also uses the HR module. We administer the funds for several federal and state programs. It is important to be able to allocate costs between funds and programs within those funds.
- Tracking revenues and expenditures by programs or contracts within different funding received.
- Payroll module is lacking in several areas. Purchase of HR module has helped with needed reports.
- Providing adequate financial reports to aid in decision making.
- Designation of revenues and expenditures for 25 - 30 programs, within 5 - 10 funding sources.
- Sub codes are use to designate between 5 counties in one program.
