Overall Satisfaction with AccountEdge
We currently use AccountEdge for our company wide accounting resource, including AR/AP, Payroll and inventory management.
- Job Costing.
- Relatively simple to work with.
- Good visual layout.
- Poor customer support.
- Buggy software.
- No VPN support.
- Weak reporting, with limited customization.
- Not well integrated or supported by many other solutions.
- Their mobile platform is absolutely horrible.
- Their payroll solution is awkward, and buggy.
- Since we are so disappointed with the reliability and support, the cost of switching is actually a negative ROI for us.
- Lack of integration with other applications is hindering my company doing more with it.
I think AccountEdge is superior to Peachtree, which is not a high bar. Its compatibility with MAC OS is good, but I think Xero will be taking much of the Mac based customers as it appears to be a better product.
