Overall Satisfaction with Action1

We use Action1 agents to keep all our workstations updated. To be able to do it from a dashboard with clear visibility into missing updates and potential vulnerabilities is awesome. With a few clicks, you can deploy updates for almost any software, patch vulnerabilities, reboot computers, and keep tabs on the signed-in user.

Pros

  • Remote vulnerability patching
  • Applying patches with a few clicks, remotely
  • Useful dashboard
  • Automating endpoint management

Cons

  • Action1 does everything we need it to do and then some.
  • Action1 reduced manual intervention to a minimum.
  • Action1 allowed deployment of custom software with a few clicks.
  • Action1 gave us actionable insights into endpoints.
Action1 is intuitive. The menu items to the left are self-explanatory and easy to navigate. The learning curve is minimal to get started. It is worth exploring guides for deploying custom or pre-built scripts from the library.Automations are also very simple to understand and navigate. Again, reading an overview or a guide gives you a better understanding all the options available. To get the full benefit of Action1, consult the how-to articles and documentation.

Yes

Action1 allows automatic deployment of updates, patches, as well as custom software remotely with a few clicks, saving us hours and hours of tedious IT work. It can do this across multiple workstations and operating systems. All this makes setting up new workstations and updating them a breeze. The visibility Action1 provides across all endpoints is amazing. All known vulnerabilities and patches can be seen on the dashboard and through its list of endpoints. Remediating and updating the endpoints can be scheduled and/or automated. Two surprising (and useful) features include remote management through the ability to remote-desktop into an endpoint and the ability to run scripts on selected endpoints.Action1 saves an incredible number of IT hours and reduces manual intervention.
