Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR is used both in our company and by the customers we serve. Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR is characterized by a completely different perspective in the fight against viruses, blackmail trojans and other malware through a 100% classification of all running processes through a complete program analysis. The software combines traditional antivirus technology and the advanced model of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) in a single solution to defend against known and unknown threats. Adaptive Defense 360 is an innovative cybersecurity solution for desktops, laptops, and servers delivered via the cloud. To this day we can say with a clear conscience that there has not been an incident in our organization or with any of our customers, provided the software is used on all end devices. Unlike other solutions, the control center is not installed locally on a computer specifically used for this purpose, but rather, thanks to the cloud-based system, it can be administered from each computer via a browser. In our opinion, there is currently no better solution in this area.

We rate the general usability of Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR as excellent for both the administrator and the end-user. Ideally, the end-user is not involved in the installation and handling of the agent. The cloud-based solution ensures installation and the resulting monitoring by the administrator, making on-site visits a thing of the past.

Central Management

Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR has had a tremendous impact on our company's ability to centrally manage endpoint security. The efficiency in terms of customer support in terms of installation and scalability is enormous. Adding another agent takes minutes without being on-site. The security situation has also improved enormously, we can say with certainty that there have been many attempts at intruder attacks and phishing to date, but these have always been fended off by Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR.
