Overall Satisfaction with Adaptive Suite

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Adaptive is being rolled out to all of our directors for forecasting and planning. Monthly meetings are held to review all of our financials for all departments. We use it to compare variances in our versions and to update our rolling forecasts.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Very efficient in comparing variances between your actuals and forecasts. Reports are easy to use and can be made to your liking.

Cons

The view has to be adjusted each time you click on a different department. There is no way to lock in the view as you are clicking through the different versions and departments.

Breadth of Deployment

There are currently four admin users that use Adaptive. All four are in the finance department and allow access to other members. Currently, only directors are given access to the reports and sheets in Adaptive. There is payroll information that cannot be shown to other users and the directors are responsible for handling the department's budgets and forecasts.

Data Integration

Integrating data from NetSuite is simple to do with Adaptive. Actuals can be pulled directly from NetSuite so nothing has to be manually input.

Collaboration and Sharing

Anyone who has access to Adaptive can view all of the reports and sheets in real time. Reports can also be emailed to other Adaptive users very easily.

Likelihood to Recommend

Adaptive Insights is used primarily by our finance department. We currently use NetSuite so it was very simple to integrate our preexisting data. There are features that can be used for the accounting team as well but our company has not accessed those yet. We currently only use the planning module of Adaptive but are looking to get OfficeConnect and Discovery as well.
