Overall Satisfaction with Adaptive Suite

We are currently using the planning software to plan for the entire company, but the software itself is only being utilized by the financial planning team. We are transitioning from using Excel for budget/forecasting to Adaptive Planning. We plan to move into other parts of the suite once we have mastered planning.

Pros

  • Easy to understand/use, also the help section is very easy to use.
  • Flexible. Can scale to the business, but still allows you to drill down into transaction detail when integrated with NetSuite.
  • Reporting is great. Very useful and informative.

Cons

  • Notes in dashboards. That is not currently supported.
  • Online training needs to provide more detail, probably an instance to match with the walk through so we can practice as well.
I have only used Excel, and Adaptive Suite blows it out of the water for planning/reporting.
Less than 10 users, mostly financial department executives. Used for company-wide planning/forecasting, but used only by Finance.
Never had a problem.
We use Adaptive with NetSuite and Sales Force, and both integrate seamlessly with the Adaptive platform.
Does the suite provide all of the functionality I need?
Is the program cost effective once I have added in all of the suite items?
