Adobe Acrobat is a must have for my everyday work!

Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

I am a gift officer for a charitable organization and use Adobe Acrobat every day when I work. It is an essential program that allows me to support my stakeholders in a professional manner. Whether it is for issuing compliant charitable tax receipts, updating pledge agreements etc. without having to go back to the source file or compiling document packages for our Board of Directors, it allows me to function smoothly and quickly throughout my day.

It's intuitive and comprehensive, so a no brainer for me considering it is also the industry leader.

  • Allows us to compile documents to maximize board of director's input
  • Enables me to work quickly as I don't have to update source Word files, reducing staff time
We also use SharePoint, so I don't often use the sharing and collaboration features from within Adobe Acrobat, but on the few occasions where I have been sharing with external people and SharePoint hasn't worked well, I have used these collaboration features with no issue. I feel assured that Adobe Acrobat would have similar security features as SharePoint, so was able to do so without worry.
I used PDF Architect for a short time but I do not believe I had the full version, so it did not offer the same features as Adobe Acrobat and I was not able to combine documents. I did not find it as user friendly as Adobe Acrobat (probably because I had only ever used Adobe Acrobat before), so I asked to purchase Adobe Acrobat rather than the full version of Architect.

If you are regularly issuing, creating or updating PDF documents, Adobe Acrobat is a must. In 2022 I started with a new organization that didn't have the full Adobe Acrobat program and it ended up being the first resource I asked to purchase as I didn't feel I could do my job to the best of my abilities, especially with any speed. I don't know how to compile documents that are created from all different types of files (Word, PDF, Excel, etc) outside of Adobe Acrobat and have no interest in investigating because Adobe Acrobat makes it so simple.
