Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

I've used Adobe Acrobat to mainly view PDF documents and sign if needed. In some cases I've used it for OCR capabilities. It's main usage has been sharing files with external stakeholders, wether its an invoice or PO that needs to be prepared we would leverage Adobe Acrobat. There is also quotes from the sales team which favour PDFs that can be used in Adobe Acrobat.
  • Converting file formats

  • Collaboration tools like Google Sheets
  • Data extraction

  • Document Conversion
  • Filling up forms
  • Ease of Use
The software's intuitive interface and straightforward functionalities significantly contribute to a seamless user experience. This user-friendliness aligns with our organization's goal of ensuring efficient adoption of tools across teams with diverse skill sets. Adobe Acrobat's straightforward document creation, editing, and collaboration features have empowered our employees.
  • Reduce errors
  • Easy access to tools
  • Document security
The impact is two-fold: first, it instills confidence internally, assuring our teams that confidential information is handled securely. Second, it reinforces trust externally, especially with clients entrusting us with payment-related data. The overall security of our data has become a crucial aspect of our overall risk management strategy, contributing to a secure and compliant environment for our internal systems and services.
For our organization, Adobe Acrobat is selected primarily for its specialized features in creating, editing, and securing PDF documents. Given our focus on point-of-sale software and payment processing services, the need for maintaining document consistency, professionalism, and enhanced security aligns well with Adobe Acrobat's strengths. While Google Docs/Sheets are excellent for collaborative work, Adobe Acrobat's specialized features make it the preferred choice for our internal systems, emphasizing document quality and security.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

No

Although Adobe Acrobat is a great tool there are many options that are free that offer the same service. If the service is free in tools that are already being used such as Google Docs or Drive then there isnt a need to use Adobe Acrobat. When it comes to signing documents we favour docusign and preview for internal signing.
