Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Animate

we use Adobe Animate for our animation process on various projects including videos for Youtube and Explainer animations. it is mostly used in case of animations with less frame rates and more authentic touch. it is also used widely for animating characters. Adobe Animate brings a powerful tools to animate anything in 2D. its a classic animation software for our company.

Pros

  • it makes 2d animation a lot better than any other programs.
  • it is loaded with a lots of features enabling the creative freedom for animators.
  • rigging is very seamless process while doing in Adobe Animate
  • it brings the feel of classic handrawn 2d animations that we all love.

Cons

  • First thing is it takes a lot of time to learn Adobe Animate.
  • Limited camera options unlike Adobe After Effects.
  • the user interface is difficult for beginners to work.
  • it takes a lot of time to work. the result will be shocking but you got to spend a lot of time working on animations frame by frame.
  • we work with short animated clips and it helps us to deliver custom animated projects less than 10-15 seconds for our clients in highest possible quality. so one thing is quality of work it went really up.
  • initially we have to spend a lot of time learning and buying courses to train our team for Adobe Animate because its not like bunch of pin tools to make a character animations without tearing the design.
  • It feel to know that we have learned the basics of animation while learning Adobe Animate and it impacted largely on skills of our team.
Adobe Animate is difficult to learn because its totally different from the other animation tools but one thing for sure if you want to build a quality on industry standards then Adobe Animate is your knight in shining armour. so using Adobe Animate is easy but you have to spend a lot of time learning it and practicing it. their ui is more like a design software with added keyframes. but if you know your way to work it will be a legend to work with.
i can say Adobe Animate is far better in results of animation among Cartoon Animator or Toon Boom Harmony. but it is lot more difficult to animate and learn how to animate in Adobe Animate. so if you want to learn quick Cartoon Animator is easy but if you need industry standard results then Adobe Animate is good. also one thing is Adobe Animate is part of creative cloud so you will get regular updates time to time unlike others. their ui is difficult but again masters play in storm. so Adobe Animate is good for masters of animation.

I like Adobe Animate because it is the classic animation software for hand drawn animations and it brings a special authentic feel for creativity like we see in popular short films made in 2d. the animation process is difficult to lean but once you know it you will be the master of creating animation and one should always learn the classic in order to set their command in 2d animation industry. so Adobe Animate is the soul of 2d animation.
