Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate
We use Adobe Captivate basically to create application simulations for our proprietary software. We also use Adobe Captivate to create engaging content that helps to promote firm initiatives (e.g., Core Values project).
- I love the Text-to-Speech feature in Adobe Captivate. I use to record all of the audio manually, which was time-consuming to say the least. Now, I can easily convert text to speech before I submit the project which gives users, SMEs and other stakeholders a good idea how the finished project will look and sound.
- Pan and Zoom is another feature that I like to use in Adobe Captivate. When creating application simulations, this feature allows you to pan to an area or zoom in on specific areas to bring more clarity to the end user.
- I love Adobe Captivate Interactions. Every time I'm faced with a project, I try to think of how to use one. I use interactions to create quizzes, graphs, or whenever I need to another level of engagement.
- The latest version of Adobe Captivate makes it easy to publish content for mobile and desktop users. I love how professional my projects look as a result.
- I honestly can't think of how to improve Adobe Captivate at this time. I've been using Adobe Captivate for years to create eLearning content. While I also use other authoring tools, I always come back to Adobe Captivate to do my heavy lifting. It's a great product!
- I just thought about one thing. I really like the way I can animate square and circles in Camtasia to look as if they were hand drawn. I wish I could do the same with Adobe Captivate.
- Adobe Captivate has had a positive impact on our learning and employee development initiatives. People are always impressed at how professional our content looks and is received. The tool is definitely worth the investment.

As I mentioned before, I've used Adobe Captivate for a long time. I've used other authoring tools, but always come back to Adobe Captivate to do my heavy lifting. Perhaps, I'm just more comfortable with Adobe Captivate and always am surprised at what I can do with it. Camtasia works well with my video, but Adobe Captivate can do it all.
