Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Dreamweaver

I use Adobe Dreamweaver daily to assist with building websites and web layouts. I also use it to help check code syntax for various languages. It saves me so much time!

Pros

  • Checking Code Syntax
  • Displaying Coded Layouts
  • Shortcuts That Save Time

Cons

  • Sometimes it locks up when loading external assets.
  • Connecting websites via FTP can sometimes be challenging.
  • Assisted with table layouts for html emails.
  • Code syntax checking which saves time and money.
Adobe Dreamweaver is very useable and easy to navigate. It's features are fantastic and documentation on how to use the software is very detailed. If you can't find how to do something, the help file is fantastic and works great!
While Sublime Text and notepad ++ are great, Adobe Dreamweaver is far better for web development in my opinion. The ability to just FTP your files up to your webserver without having to use another FTP software is a game changer. It really is a wonderful feature.

Yes

I feel that Dreamweaver is the ultimate web development software. It's flexibility, features, and ease of use are why I would rate it 10/10 everytime. While there are plenty of coding software options out there, for web development and even something as simple as code syntax checking, Dreamweaver is your best option.
