Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Express
I use Adobe Express to create social media and promotional material for classes that I teach. I combine text, photos and videos and sometimes audio to create the best post. Some issues I face is having one product to do everything I need to create a post but then it's missing certain features.
Pros
- Importing media
- Downloading media
- A selection of templates to choose from
Cons
- I'm not able to apply a transition or time code to multiple frames
- Not able to resize multiple images or video at once
- Not able to sample a color from an image simply and apply it to multiple backgrounds
- I think more people have viewed or liked my posts but not necessarily impacting my ROI.
Photoshop has so many advanced features that I use and have created content from it to upload to Adobe Express. Express is much quicker when combining several elements into one post but quite use to Photoshop when creating exactly what I want without trying to figure out simple tasks. Files are much smaller in Express which is a major plus.

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Adobe Express again?
Yes
Using Adobe Express
1 - I am the only person in my organization and the only one that uses Adobe Express. I am the photographer, content creator and designer for the posts I create. I create content to promote various classes I teach and share it with the organizations I teach at. Makes it easy to combine their assets with my content for great promotional materials.
1 - The types of people required to support Adobe Express should be patient, creative and experimental with all the different options that are available to create something magnificent. Patience is necessary because of all the different options that are available for one to experiment with. A designer would work well knowing which styles to incorporate with added media.
- Sharing capabilities
- Format options
- Layering content
- Variety of templates
- Creating a mixture of media into one post quickly
- Creating animated greeting cards
Evaluating Adobe Express and Competitors
Yes - Adobe Express replaced a combination of apps. I was using Instagram, Layout, Premiere Rush, Photoshop and Snapchat to create certain content. I would work in PS to add text and layers. Video clips I'd work in Premiere Rush. The other apps were used more for filters. Then I'd combine all elements into one post that would take some time to complete.
- Cloud Solutions
- Scalability
- Ease of Use
It was important for me to be able to access my different content on different devices. Always working on projects in various locations where a computer isn't available. I was able to continue working on projects that I started in Adobe Express on a desktop and then add other elements or adjust other parts of it on a different device.
I would use less apps and try to accomplish the simplest tasks in one app. I'd work with apps that have more templates to select from. Something that's definitely easy to use without reading a bunch manuals or watching tutorials. It would be nice to have a bit more advanced features in Adobe Express so I wouldn't have to go to other apps.

- Adding similar elements to a page
- Rearranging or resizing elements on a page
- Working with text
- Adding a template to an existing post that has images.
- Applying the same transition duration to certain clips and not all
Yes - For the most part I've only tried it a couple of times just to see what features were on mobile. It looks very similar to the desktop app and easy to start from scratch and work with the templates. Able to resize and delete elements easily. Tried inserting my own photo but doesn't allow DNG's. Tried a JPG and worked great with resizing and changing the opacity. This was a simple task to add to a template.
