Adobe Firefly is a Great Option for Both New and Experienced Users
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly
I use Adobe Firefly for image generation and ideation. If I'm working on some social media assets or small flyers, it can help generate infographics or accent elements fast! It can also help the creative process get started if I'm in a bit of a slump or suffering from the blank page syndrome. I might not ultimately stick with what it comes up with, but it helps set me on a path forward, which can be invaluable.
Pros
- AI image generation
- History of past generations
- Reference image incorporation
- Visual style incorporation
Cons
- Uses a credit system for some functionality - I'd rather have it be one flat fee
- Quickly generating graphics, saves time
- Fills in gaps in our internal image library and is cheaper/more versatile than a stock subscription - saving money
- Expands the access an individual, especially one without an art background, has to create images on their own - which better connects with our audiences on social media
I think they stack up well against the other options, and I like that you know the images it generates are safe to use commercially - something that is a big concern for me and my team! I also like it's natural integration with other Adobe Creative Suite products, since that's primarily what my team uses.
