Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly

My organization uses Adobe Firefly for various work streams. These include creating marketing collateral materials, training video content which has animations, presentation materials such used in slide decks, proof of concept product branding, and editing existing digital assets. We want an easy to use product and Firefly addresses our basic needs.

Pros

  • Creating new content based on word descriptions
  • Editing images without needing Photoshop skills
  • Create proof of concept artwork easily to see if it meets customer's requirements

Cons

  • Accessibility - being able to dictate what to do instead of typing
  • Adding in watermarks to visualise who the creator is
  • It is a time-saving tool in creating new content.
  • Adobe is a trusted multimedia company that makes solid products.
It is easy to use and there are a number of community led online forums where we can ask questions. Since this is a web-based product, it means there is very minimal need to install specific software where we would have to test for compatibility with other existing software products.
Adobe Firefly is a more trusted company than Canva. When we had to contact customer support, we found they are more responsive. Canva is used within the organization but not as many licenses are purchased. In the long run, we plan to continue using Firefly for most of our media assets.

Being able to create content easily without spending too much time was one of the key areas why we decided to use Adobe Firefly . Since Firefly simply generates content, it is hard to version control the design changes made along the way. Sometimes it can be tedious to start from scratch.
