Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly

I generally use Adobe Firefly inside of other creative cloud products, most often illustrator, to create vector graphics that I then go in and modify at a later time. I also use it for generative expand in photoshop to create several different aspect ratios of images without sacrificing pixels for things like website banners and cards

Pros

  • Vector graphics
  • 3D creation
  • surreal and/or abstract scenes

Cons

  • Image resolution
  • Realistic people
  • blending with generative fill
  • Speed up content creation
  • makes previously unusable images usable
  • Ideation
It’s not perfect, and the outputs are low resolution. I work on large high resolution renders and scans, and sometimes need to make minor touchups, but Adobe Firefly changes can really stick out like a sore thumb. Removing cars and other scenery creates an area of the image that is noticeable lower resolution than the rest of it.

Do you think Adobe Firefly delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Firefly's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Firefly live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Adobe Firefly go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Firefly again?

Yes

I personally think that Adobe Firefly is very well suited, again, for things involving vector graphics. The ability to turn 2d to 3d images and then rotate them around is a game changer, and turning real photos and images into svg scenes that can be modified and scaled is very useful.
