I have been instructed to use Adobe Firefly for graphic design uses, social media content, website design, etc.

Pros

It produces content quickly

Cons

I can easily tell everything produced is Ai
I think this program is an insult to creatives
In my opinion, it makes whatever finished project it's a part of, tacky and unprofessional

Return on Investment

I have lost work to Adobe Firefly
I actively speak out against it
In my opinion, it has decreased the quality of design work in this industry

I'm sure lazy designers are using it like crazy, but I will not. I refuse to even when instructed to. I would rather spend hours on Photoshop than use something that, in my opinion, is so environmentally detrimental.

Alternatives Considered

Midjourney and Stable Diffusion XL

I think Adobe Firefly is more suited to graphic design work, but in my opinion, it's equally as disappointing to use in terms of quality of images.

I would never recommend Adobe Firefly to a colleague. I feel it is always inappropriate for creatives to be using Ai in their work. I think Adobe will lose all of its clientele eventually when Ai takes over the creative force.
