We use InDesign for conference materials and brochures.
Pros
- Design the layout of the booklets.
- Make background papers.
- Powerful functions.
Cons
- For first-time users, it is overwhelming; too many buttons and it's hard to find some features.
- The booklets we made are professional looking.
- We never needed to hire any company to do that. We can do it in-house. Money saving!
We got the Adobe whole package for graphic and book design; this way, we could use any of the software provided by the purchase. It's great, sometimes we use Photoshop for our website; sometimes we use Illustrator to design a cover. And we could insert any of the files into InDesign easily.
