Overall Satisfaction with Airbnb for Work
With our teams being spread across the continental US, often times we need to coordinate efforts and travel to another team's location. The unfortunate part is, when our team needs to travel, it requires stacks of emails, confirmation, receipts, etc etc etc. With Airbnb for Work, it requires just one reservation for a whole house and instead of renting a collaboration space from a hotel, most homes have a spacious enough living room to support our small team. My group has used an Airbnb for this exact purpose and the house was treated as a home base where we could all return to and either continue working or relax in the afternoons.
Pros

- Excellent web service to view perspective rentals
- Easy Booking process
- Great communication between renter and owner
Cons
- Airbnb is a hosting service and can't handle the day to day issues that you may run into.
- Reliant on Owner communication and information
- There may not be homes available on short term notice
- There may not be homes large enough to suit your needs if you plan on working in the home
- Less time spent on paperwork for reservations and payments
- More convenient if renting a car and carpooling
- Can be significantly cheaper than hotels with work area rentals
- More time spent finding a home to fit all needs (location, price, availability, size)
I believe Airbnb for Work has by far the largest network of homes and spaces to rent from. They are, in my opinion, the go-to website for business and personal rentals. I believe their web space is great and easy to use and their "owners" or "hosts" are often top notch in terms of communication and transparency. I will say that it looks like the fees have gone up and renting has become more expensive since my last trip. This may be due to a handful of factors but the prices seem to be comparable to that of other websites that I previewed. Note: Prices sway hugely based on location and date of booking. Many locations have deep discounts for last minute rentals and airbnb does a great job showing a calendar with daily fees
