The best IR software
Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense
We use AlphaSense for our investor relations team. AlphaSense provides us access to sell-side research, a tremendous search function to search SEC documents, and an easy way to track peer news and events. AlphaSense helps tremendously with monitoring peer transcripts, ad hoc projects, and much more that we need to send off key learnings to our c-suite.
Pros
- Research access
- Searching publicly available documents
- Summarizing transcripts
- Finding comps for ad-hoc projects
- Tracking peer news
Cons
- Public financials
- Tracking research usage
- Consensus tracking
- Productivity gain
- Efficiency gain
- Deeper competitor insights
- More informed macro trends
- Extra preparation for earnings
It has helped a tremendous amount for us to be more aware of developments in our competitive landscape. Being able to be notified when a peer reports earnings, have their transcript summarized, and quickly find trends or takeaways cannot be understated. It's saves a massive amount of time for us to be able to quickly find the information we need, and allows us to digest more information.
AlphaSense is simply the best software when it comes to finding information from publicly available documents and their access to sell-side research. While it has some room to go in terms of their access to financials, they've already made significant improvements and I'm excited for the future. I ended up choosing AlphaSense mainly for the search function as it saves an incredible amount of time for me.
