Overall Satisfaction with Altair SmartSight (formerly Carriots Analytics)

We needed to enhance our decision-making process by analyzing data coming from different sources in our company. The focus was on Sales analytics and our objective was to extract actionable insight to present to CxO for yearly strategy planning sessions. Moreover, we need to integrate different sources like CRM and compensation management tools.

Altair SmartSight stacks up against other competitors when it comes to user experience and performance on a limited amount of data (<2M records). Moreover Carriots Analytics has a good customer service and an efficient and prepared expertise service. It is less efficient when it comes to integrating with different data sources and dealing with large datasets.

Usability is one of the most important strengths of Altair SmartSight. It is easy to configure dashboards and reports based on available data.
We have been supported by Altair customer service just one time and they were very competent and well prepared. I would definitely recommend Altair SmartSight when it comes to expert and customer support.
We used Carriots Analytics to perform Sales performance analysis like quota monitoring, churn, and satisfaction analysis. The tool performed very well even though the learning curve isn’t so flat at the very beginning. It is easy to configure and customize once you get used to it. We started to use the tool also for monitoring internal processes performance.
