Overall Satisfaction

We used it at my last company for managing data and building predictive models for out clients.
  • Use SQL for the behind-the scenes
  • Build trade areas
  • Geocode
  • Mapping output is visually inadequate
  • Doesn't include very many visual output options
  • Limited on mapping customization
  • Faster data processes (appending various data)
  • Non-gis people have been able to to geocode/build trade areas (this is positive and negative)
  • Quickly generate a standardized way of research processes
Depending on what I used within Alteryx-- Data processing/management, is is not as intuitive or as easy as SPSS, but its much easier than Arc.

It does not even compare to the graphical outputs you can get from ArcGIS (and even the sub par MapInfo).
I have no control over this nor do I use the product any more.
The use of this product really depends on what you need it for. It's less appropriate for someone who works more on the brokerage side of real estate and needs flashy product, whereas its incredibly powerful and perfect for building predictive sales models.
